Wasn't able to watch the webcast. I thought I would have read some details here. What's up???

@chris_logan ok thanks, I think I will stick with the L. I'm 6' 2" 190.
Did your Impact vest stretch at all?
-
Just got my new vest in the mail. Had an Eagle XL before the Camaro. Felt like the Eagle stretched out and I lost some wieght. Miami Ski Nautique told me to get an LG but this vest feels real tight! Do they stretch at all?
Thanks

New problem is a slow drip from the pulley shaft. A drip every 30 seconds. I'm figuring my water pump got to hot and fried a seal.
Can I replace the seal or do I need a whole new pump?
-
That had to hurt

I left out that they are new....

Found 5 in my ski bag. Used them on my 9500 and the screws never came loose. No need now but before I toss them in the trash thought I would see if anyone wanted them.
I will even pay for the stamp
-
Ok so I must have put it on backwards as that would explain why my strainer would fill with hot water from the motor.
I will flip it and see what happens.
Appreciate everyone's help.

Ok I feel stupid.... Changed the pump not sure how many times, but isn't there one way to put it on with the GT-40? The rotation is always the same, no?

Boat started to get warm at idle, up to 180 so I replaced impeller. Old impeller looked ok but worn. First time int he water boat got warm fast. Raw water pump housing was hot so I shut it down. Checked strainer it was clear. Fired it up again and strainer filled with hot water.
Pulled the hose at the top of the pump and fired it up and now the new impeller is not drawing water.... $45 down the drain.
Pulled the boat out of the water and the intake at the bottom is clear.
Confused because over a 13 year periods changed the impeller I don't know how many times and this hasn't happened. Confused why before changing the impeller it would stay at 160 at speed but idle it woul climb to 170/80.
Any thoughts?

The guy I ski with weighs 130 and has .0009% body fat. We ski in Dallas and he wore a shorty today! He has been through a number of O'Neils dry suits through the years and wanted to try something new. I knew that if this suit was any good someone on this website would know.
Thanks!

Anyone know anything about this suit? Its a good price.

Thanks everyone! For the last three weeks I have been driving the wife's car and my ski has spent some time in the back resting on the right side of the boot, plus a couple of hot Texas day I believe have caused my problem. Going to use a heat gun and change the way I transport my ski.
Again thanks for the replies.

I have had the boot for about 4 years. This year I have a burning pain on the outside ankle bone. I thought my liner was worn. Got a new liner but I still have the problem. Is it possible for the boot to break down? Change over time?

That is a big buoy! In snow skiing they have practice gates which are maybe boot high. Not sure why it couldn't be out of the same buoy materiel we have now but narrow like a noodle and longer so its easier to see. You could hit it any where from boot to knee and it would easily deflect.
-
@Marcus, curious about your proposal for a salmon gate instead of ball. A couple people on the board have said a foam noodle won't work because of the potential of it catching the fin. What other type of material were you thinking? Why couldn't it be the size of a noodle made out of want we currently use for buoys now filled with air?

Yeah it's interesting...6' 2" 190 so maybe your on to something.

I recently switched back to a RTP so I could come out with one foot. Found out in fall through MRI i have degenerating L4L5. Interesting because I have the opposite feeling RTP = less load. With double boots and a rounded back I felt a lot of strain. Not sure this is right but, loading the back rounded is a bad idea and by dragging a foot I'm able to keep back more erect. It also takes less throttle.

Do you ever rotate or move the toe plate back/forward like you would a rear boot? Or do you feel there is enough freedom with moving your heal around that its not necassry?
Thanks
