  1. No mechanical release. I did put a Sole footbed in the size 12 Vapor boots due to a very low volume foot. It fits so well that i just take the slack out of the BOA that runs across my forefoot and keep the top bungee barely snug. Feels very secure but I can easily pull my foot out on the dock. The increased responsiveness of the ski is noticeable with the new Vapor boots.
  2. Just came off the Radar Strada boot which was eventually renamed the Vapor boot. The upgrade to the new build is definitely worth it. Better in every way.
  3. Just got off my first set on the NRG R2 mounted with the 2022 Vapor boots. Transition from the old Vapor boots was seamless. Super user friendly setup. More control and easier to get on and off than the old ones.
  4. Seems like Goode is in good hands. Great to see!
  5. So bottom of heel will put you in the same spot as the bottom stitch on the older Vapor boots?
  6. 7 degrees on the wing. I ski on radar vapor boots with the sequence plate. A little bit forward of stock for the front foot due to hole locations. Ski turns better for me on my offside than being a little back on binding placement. Stock on fin. Just bought 2023 Vapors that i’m waiting to receive so I may be starting over on binding location. Old ones finally fell apart.
  7. Four sets on the NRG R2. Confidence inspiring ski. Ski feels glued to the water with smooth symmetrical turns.. i’m on a 68 at 205lbs. Get into 32 off at 34mph. Coming off an orange Connelly Prophecy which I loved, but this is more smooth and forgiving. I struggled with some tip bubble on my off side on the Connelly which is gone in the D3.
  8. Anyone who bought these have a very narrow foot. i’m size 12 and sized down in the past. The lower boot looks a lot more ridged now. do they run wide or narrow?
  9. good lesson in negative marketing
  10. Also cleans all debris off docks and shoreline
  11. I had the red and blue Sixam and then the green and black one. Wasn’t the same.
  12. Nate and Regina on top of Slalom for a decade. How long will it continue?
  13. Be nice if “S lines” is on the advertisers page for a link
  14. The 1999 sport with no bags or tower skis really close to the 206. We switch back and forth between them all summer with no complaints at 28 off and shorter. Also ski behind a 1999 bouble butt which is hands down better.
  15. Upgrade to the Phantom Truth so you can really hurt your self
  16. Retiring my prophecy this year(the original black one). Bought it when I skied 36 and weighted 175. At the time I liked the deeper riiding feel. Now free ski 3/4 the time on a wind chopped lake and course ski on a private lake. Last summer I could ski thought 28@34 but a ton of work. I am now 200lbs. Won’t be demoing. Know I need a 68. Looking for a new ski to ski both conditions. More concerned about forgiveness than a new pb but would still like to improve. I rode a newer d3 and liked it(not sure of the model). I will be keeping my vaper boots as they work great for me and haven’t been hurt in them. I know I should be demoing skis but really don’t have the time or desire to go thought the process.
  17. I’m a Nautique guy, but that’s an ugly boat model
  18. Nate Dominant for a decade now.
