  1. How do you know when your old ski is dead?
  2. I do the Fake 1 hander as well and it has a few other benefits. I find that you can compensate for a overly aggressive pull-out by adjusting when you drop your arm. We have a really short setup and this can save some bad gates. Also, I find that with the one handed turn in, I tend to start slow and pull more progressively.
  3. Dang. Soon as I sell my 9800, I'll looking for an SS.
  4.  Hey John, How does it compare to my 05 red and blue sixam? As Brent eluded in another thread, I might be parting with my 9800 and looking for something else.
  5. These's a couple at Schnitz's. http://www.schnitzskis.com/videos.html
  6. "I'll mountem' to my Warp 8 which just got in the door. cool. Brent here are E's , shipping to Scott on Monday. " Does that mean that you need us to test out the warp 8 at the same time? /vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif It seems to me that it would be beneficial to test it in warm South Florida water to create data for the fin charts. Yeah, that's the ticket!  Actually, I'd be afraid to try the Warp. Not for fear of damaging or losing it, but for fear of liking it.  $4000 is too much money for a ski for me.  Hey Paul, you might want to consider my $5 double stick tape instead of DualLock for mounting those bindings. If you're not moving the bindings around, it's way more secure and way cheaper than dual lock. 7. Thanks guys, One more question. Is the wing change a straight swap or do I have to add length or anything to compensate for losing the anchor? On a side note, I did a side by side video comparison between the Goode and my Sixam. I have better body position on the Goode but I do notice that the Sixam is faster out of the ball, the Goode feels more stable though.ÂÂÂÂ
  8. Hey MS, Are you using the Goode wing or a smaller one?ÂÂÂÂ
  9.  From my limited experience with the 9800, I have found that taking away fin area speeds up the ski.  Dave miller is running 6.845 2.449 .72 7 degree wing. Those numbers don't work for me but I bet he is heavy for his ski size and I'm light for mine.  Good luck
  10. I'm often in the boat and Brent is definitely coming in flat at the one ball. IMHO it is the result of either pulling too hard too soon, or letting up on his pull too soon. Brent should post a video to get a broader range of opinions. If he brings his camera tomorrow, I'll shoot it for him.
