  1. 2 years ago I went through spinal decompression to help my 4 lower bulging vertebrae. After that yoga and a home inversion table for the core.

  4. My name is Larry Zywicki, I'm 54 and ski on Middle Straits Lake in W. Bloomfield MI with my wife and 2 daughters. I'm a Field Service Eng./Project Manager for Thermotron, we make high performance environmental test equipment.  In other words I'm jack-of-all-trades and master of none. I've been skiing for about 35 years now and just love to be out on the lake, (skiing or not), it just takes all the pain and troubles of the day and floats them down stream. I've nerver skied in a tournament but have been to a few.  I'm  not a person that like to compete with others just better myself. PB was 6@32 about years ago before I took a small detour to the dark side and dislocated my knee wakeboarding. Now I'm trying to run 28 off with some consistenly but keep getting stuck going around 4 ball most times.  I've enjoyed this site, my carbon fin and all the information very much over the past couple of years very much. Keep it up John.

  6. I dislocated my front knee back in 2000; I have no MCL, no ACL and about 30% of both meniscuses are gone. I’ve been using a custom CTI brace from Ossur without any problems. CTI is used by a number of the wakeboard pro's.
  7. That Bamboo one looks sweet.
  8. Skiing should be more important then something silly like that. Hope my wife of 25 years dosen't read this./vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif
  9. Already done, bought one a couple of week ago.   Haven't seen my name add to the membership list yet, I'm sure everyone’s been busy trying to get there last runs of the season in.
  10. Does it have to be a ski? We have been messing around skiing through the course with a  wooden wakeskate when the water turns rough. 17mph and a 60' rope, no skate shoes. Turns out it's a fun time and not that easy.
  11. Here are pic's of our tournament. Any wood ski that you could find and a full rope off the back at 28mph. http://picasaweb.google.com/onamission05/OldSchoolTournament#
  12. Best bet is prevention, streaching and the back belt has worked for me.
  13. Just got this e-mail fromm Gary at PP about the fix to the software: I will call you when available. We will swap Modules, but will require a credit card # which will only be charged if the old Module is not mailed back within 21 days.
  14. John, gald to hear good things about the bindings, they sound as good as the ad makes them out to be . Can't wait for them to show up at he door, get them mounted up on the ski , and have the lake thaw.
