  1. I had mine right hip done May 27 so it is 14 weeks post surgery today. I have not skied yet, was told to wait 6 months but have been riding my bike for the last 7 weeks every day for an hour, it's the best thing I ever did. I'm 53 and my PB is 4@38 and I plan on running it next year. Was told by my surgeon I would have no limitations, could do whatever I wanted, as long as I let it heal and get stronger. My advice is don't wait any longer, like I said it's the best thing I ever did, as I was in a lot of pain.
  2. I have a 2008 Zero off speed control for a Malibu for sale on SKI-IT-AGAIN (with pictures), used 1/2 a season on our club boat in 2009, when we sold our boat the buyer did not want the system, perfect working condition, has sat in my garage since then. Not sure what year or what boats it could be adapted to, sent an e-mail to Zero Off to ask that and got no response from them. Everything is there, not sure what year, boat company or if it can be adapted for an other brand, any thoughts on it would be helpful. The tag on it says EControls, Inc, M5GCP-INDAMAR, MalibuBoats, Inc. 3910513 Zero Off, MFG 11-13-2008, thanks
  3. @Ed_Obermeier I am going in for total hip replacement on May 27th and I can't wait, I have been dealing with the pain for about 5 years and enough is enough as I'm sure you know. You will be fine, and back skiing sooner than you think, I know some guys with new knees and they are back skiing, they say it is that it is as good as new. Make sure you get a great surgeon who says that you will be back skiing. The first one I saw said that he could only get me back walking and that I should look for a desk job ( I am a firefighter, and I work with 6 other guys that have had a hip replacement). HE IS NOT DOING MY SURGERY. The one that is doing mine told me that if I do the rehab, get it strong, that I will have no limitations what so ever, it will be as good as new, but no skiing for 6 months, so I am skiing as much as I can till I have the surgery. :-) I can't walk very good for a day or so but it is worth it. Keep working out and keep it strong as the stronger it is before the surgery the quicker you recover. Good luck
  4. Thanks @oldjeep, other people have had the exact email as I got, sounds like it is legit. @Horton, I have never sold anything through Paypal just bought with it, have sold a couple of ski's on SIA and have got certified checks and never had a problem. The e-mails I got just seem weird
  5. Have any of you been scammed on SIA? I posted a ski for sale and have got 3 people interested in it the next day. All of them want to buy it on my Paypal account. They are all Asian names and the grammar in the e-mails is very strange, has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.
  6. Just a heads up before you glue your seals, I glued my seals to finish off the season last year, then sent my suit into O'neill to get them replace them. They sent my suit back and said they won't replace the seals if you glue them yourself. I then sent my suit to Promotion Wersuits and they replaced the seals. They did a fantastic job, I will never deal with O'neill again
