  1. Santa was good to my son and I. Now all we need is a trip to Florida! Happy New Year to all you crazy Ballers!
  2. After 26 years of being a promo team member for Correct Craft, this may be my very favorite boat of all!
  3. @Ed Obermeier-We live on Beaver Lake in Rogers, AR. It is about 1.5 hrs from Bull Schoals and has similar topography. Would love to ski with you next August. Have boat, course, and driver ready at a moments nortice. Merry Xmas!!
  4. My name is Alvin Neff. I am 55 years young and have been skiing 49 years. I live in Arkansas on a public lake. I only learned about competitive skiing 30 years ago and have been hooked ever since. I have been a Correct Craft promo team member since 1987 and have a beautiful 2012 200CB that needs a new home. I am a senior driver and judge for slalom and regular trick driver and regular judge for trick and jump. I have been an overall skier for 30 years and enjoy just getting to compete at a national level. I check in on Ball of Spray daily and love this website. I know many of you guys and girls and look forward to meeting everyonme else. Happy Holidays!!
  5. @tsouthar I just now saw this post and would love to help you out. I live on Beaver Lake and have a demo Obrien Elite that we can set up for you and see if it will work. I was in West Palm at Nationals for the last 10 days or would have seen this post earlier. Please email me direct @ alvinneff@mac.com if you want to meet me on Beaver Lake. What a coincidence! I would like to meet you someday!
  6. Jerry Goodsen is a class act!! He is an incredible skier and an awesome human being with a very big heart and a good sense of humor. I am proud to know someone that does such a nice thing and inspires others to join in our sport.
  7. I have a beautiful 2012 200CB with very low hours (45 right now) that will be advertised next week. You can email me direct for pricing and photos at: alvinneff@mac.com. I live in Arkansas and will deliver a reasonable distance or meet half way. My boat is a 343HP 5.7 with stereo, heater, bimini, towing cover, hydrogate, Zero Off, colored platform, and deck color. It is black with the silver metallic sheer stripe pattern sitting on a Boatmate trailer with lots of options too. It is available now but my wife and son may kill me because they really love this boat. It may be the best one of 27 of them that I have owned.
  8. Andy will be the first to do it! I have seen him run 41off more than 3 times from the boat. Zero Off, no weaving, and went to 4 ball at 43off. He will qualify for the Big Dawg finals while skiing this weekend in France. It is going to be fun to watch him ski in the finals under the lights. Hope to see you guys there!!
  9. Brent, Andy always has the right information. He is a world class as skier, engineer, coach, and an amazing person with an unselfish desire to help people ski their best. He has assembled a great Pro Team. BHS, Adam is the bomb! He is able to produce whatever he, Andy and Drew can dream up. They have many other projects in the works!
  10. Brent, I just confirmed via Adam that the mid-ride prototype has more R&D needed and will not go into production till 2011. If you can get your hands on one, you are lucky to get one of the prototypes. They are unfortunately not available yet, even for me.
  11. Hey, Guys! The new ski that you are talking about is a prototype that is still in the R&D stages. It will not be available till the spring and most likely will undergo some fine tuning before a hard tool is cut. Andy said the new ski will just be an additional model to be offered next season and will not replace the popular Elite. I cannot comment any further about the design characteristics but it will be shown at Water Ski Expo in Orlando next week. Maybe Adam will release more information after next week!Â
  12. Swervit, you might notice a disadvantage in your offside turn on this ski being back on the 68. As you get closer to 30 and 1/8th you will see a better offside turn and possibly a more stable ski being in the middle of the sweet spot. Andy has been moving some bindings back a little this year but you must also move the fin back with the binding. The nelwy redesigned 68" is  completely different than last year's ski. The numbers for the newest layup are: .785,2.490,6.860 with front binding at 30" from the tail. You can email me @ alvinneff@mac.com if you have any questions for me. Good luck with getting your ski dialed in, you will love it once you find your settings!
  13. Ward, Nice to hear the surgery is done. Our thoughts and prayers are with you both.  I hope her recovery is uneventful and she gets back to her busy lifestyle soon!
  14. Just noticed this thread and I am thinking about the pain she must be in today. Ward,I hope you can be a good caretaker/babysitter. She will need some TLC.  Best wishes to Kim for a speedy recovery. She is such a kind person with amazing athletic ability. I know she will be back to competing in skiing, adventure races, and triathelons soon. That makes me tired just typing it!  ÂÂ
  15. Joe, What about the Champion Lake site that is close to town? That was a great venue for the Pro Tour stops years ago. Would their be any interest or support on Terry's behalf to host a Big Dawg tournament at that more public friendly site? Just a thought...... I loved the last Pro Tour stop at that lake.
  16. OK, Now I finally got my password reset and can communicate. Andy was very happy to see our team elite photo and hear of the great skiing by SkiDawg. Adam will be posting the video of Ward's skiing, and my interview with him, on the Elite blog tomorrow. It has been a real pain trying to email the large file... sorry to keep you guys waiting!
