  1. I am going to for sure try a pair of these boots, as soon as I can get my hands on a size small.
  2. Girl to Girl skier. I am 5' 1" @ 115lbs. I skied on my CR7 65 for many years, and used it into running 34 -15 and started on -22 with it. It was great, however I tried the Rose X5 65, ended up buying it. The Rose is much quicker and grabs nicer in the turns. I have found it more stable and forgiving then the CR7 ever was. I find if I slow down to 30mph the ski doesn't respond as nicely in the turns as it does in 32mph or above. The Rose at 34mph is a dream in the turns. However my friend Sue loves the Rose and skies with it and starts at 26mph and is working her way up to 32mph with it. Since I started out skiing the course on a Kidder 7000, to a Cr7 now a D3 Rose. I demo'd a few HO, always had problems skiing on them, they never felt like they would respond for me in the turns, like a Kidder or D3 did. I am going to get on a D3 Nomad again, to try it. I have tried it before at 30mph and didn't like it as much in the turns as I did the Rose, however now that I am skiing at 34mph, I would like to try it again, I know the Nomad is fast during your pull/wake from ball to ball. Ski like a girl.
  3. Instead of entry and exit gates, they should have a starting and ending bouy left of the center of the course on each end. To start the course you have to pass mid course after the starting bouy and to finish the course you have to pass mid course before you pass the ending bouy. So you wouldn't have to be going between two bouys that actually make you have to be going at least a slight degree down course to get between them, which is opposite the idea of getting the least angle down the course to make it to the next ball.
  4. I would dig deep in my pockets for a small pair of these boots. Come on Eddie if you made one special pair, you can make a hundred more or so.ÂÂ
  5. Also starting at -28 Zippy (Richard) ran straight down the line, behind Lee's 1996 MC boat, 1 at 39 1/2 off.  Classic PP, all times were within tolerance. The air temp was 42 and the water was 44 degrees. We did get it on video. Where is it Zippy?? Aren't you going to post it??
  6. I like it. You win the contest.
  7. I would for sure go with Radar's, Andy, however they don't make the bindings small enough. Can anyone get Eddie to convince Herb to make small bindings.  I was noticing the difference in the D3 high wrap compared to Wileys,  The D3 has the pull tie in the back, which might make a big difference to me, I might be able to get the high wrap to fit snug against my lower leg/ankle area. Wileys I was never able to get the binding tight enough around my ankle/ lower leg. To much movement from side to side. The front and back pieces of the Wiley binding were wider then my leg and so it didn't  matter how tight I had the wrap, my leg still looked like a toothpick sticking into the binding.ÂÂ
  8. Have been skiing about a year on HO Approach. some good things and not so good things about the Approaches. Have any of you had  experience on the Approach bindings, if so what are your thoughts. Thinking about trying the D3 Bindings, have any of you skied with the D3 bindings, if so what are your thoughts. I have small feet, very limited on choices. Size 5 men, size 6 women. Used to be on Wileys before the Approach. Prefer the Approach over the Wileys.
  9. sometimes you can get into the Acapulco vacation for 1/2 price. Especially if someone cancels or they have a light week booked. they usually give you a couple weeks notice. I know this week or maybe it is next week, that they were offering a 1/2 price deal. Check with Wally and the Sondergards, they have gone down on a 1/2 price deal. I have heard nothing but great things about the place. I am going to go some day.
  10. scotchipman  probably doesn't know them. Sue and Alan only have been members for about 4 yrs or so. I have been a LSWSC member to. But was after Todd left, so I don't know him either.
  11. They live near Lake Sammamish and do a lot of free skiing in the early am. They also attend a lot of private lake rentals on ski lakes in eastern Washington. And also ski at Ski Park in Orting. They ski year round as long as there is no ice on the lakes, not to windy, or it's raining to hard. A little rain never hurts any one.
  12. I have a friend getting relocated by his employer from Seattle, WA to Prescott, AZ. They are avid water skiers and have lived a block away from their ski source. Does anyone know of any place north of Phoenix, closer to Prescott, where one would be able to ski?? Even a place to free ski is better then no skiing.
  13. The weater is going to be great!!!  I'm coming!!!!
  14. 2000 Mastercraft with classic perfect pass. I keep telling Richard, who cares what speed control you have, as long as the times are with in tolerance. However I will up grade to GPS, if I can find someone willing to sell me their used Stargazer for cheap.ÂÂ
  15. That is a totally awesome looking pink ski sitting on the dock!!!!
  16. I have a 65 KD CR 7 and a 65 KD 7000. This to out of style. If not, I'll give you a deal you can't refuse.
  17. I had Robert at Wiley's build me a pair of bindings with their stiffer rubber wraps, I always had a problem getting my feet out of the bindings. When the water was cold, they were worse,  I couldn't get my bindings off unless I pulled myself up onto the dock. I started putting a small amount of vaseline on my heal and a small amount on the top of my foot. It helped to get my bindings off a lot easier. However try not to get any vaseline on the bottom of your foot. Vaseline on the bottom of your foot will make you slide around on the bottom of your bindings, as you probably would guess you doen't have good contol of your ski. I am now using HO approach bindings and don't have to deal with the Wiley's bindings in cold water any more. :)
  18. As I dropped at that end of Broho between the icebergs, now that my brain is thawed back out, I am thinking that the water was so cold it should have been frozen between all the icebergs too. Sure wish Radar made their rs-1 bindings smaller, I really think those enclosed bindings would have kept my feet from freezing instantly. I am thinking with a pair of rs-1's I would have been able to ski at least two passes before both my feet and hands froze. Hey Doane feeling sore from skiing is a good thing. Everytime you move, it reminds you, that you finally got to go skiing after 3 weeks off. SWEET!!!
  19. Hey look Ryder is in the picture of Broho. Ryder is a cool Water Skier's Dog. He loves going to the lake
  20. Hey Zippy you forgot to mention that the deep low yaaaaaaaa at the very end was Lee Johnson, he was the other witness/cheerleader
