Nice review Horton, That being said, Horton is only a human! He can only describe things that he feels and notices, Each of us may have a totally different opinion. I am 5'8, 175, start at 32-15 and work my way up. It is my belief that until you are a really good skier, with consistently good position, the way your ski feels can be different day to day. I just started on the Senate, went with the Lithium on advice from Trent F. and so far it feels really comfortable, and I really like it, most of the time. The times it doesn't, I attribute that to me and my ability. Go out and try the different models. Most expensive isn't always best! Have fun trying them all out!

I have watched my first unboxing after about 7 years! Good job. My question, Is the Sequence plate you used better then the 2 smaller, separate plates that actually come with the boots? And why?

Thanks guys, I used the dual lock as a secondary release due to a serious knee blowout a few years ago. On the boots touching, a coach recently was thinking that a larger gap between boots may help me.

Trying to decide if I should just mount my new Vapors with the included plates to my ski, or go to the dual lock route. Used dual lock in the past with very few issues except I was unable to make any adjustments to the bindings in reference to their space apart. I went from a 10 to an 11 and with the 11's the boots are touching, unless I want to drill new hole's in the plastic plate.

I have had 3 sets, Never heat molded them per Eddie and Horton. They feel great!

What are the details on this event/accusation?

Blew the rear top rubber on my new Vapors over the weekend. Sent an email and within 1 hour Trevor in Warranty responded. As soon as they are in stock, a new pair will be on the way. Awesome service as always.

Skied last night and the water was like butter, not a ripple. Felt weird and awkward and just fell over going around the 3 ball. I prefer a small little ripple on the water, how about you?

Just got my new Vapors today. I usually wear a size 9.5-10. I first had RS-1's size 10 and they were awesome, Then went to some newer vapors in 10 and they seemed narrow and weren't as comfortable. Went to 11 this time, mainly for a little extra width as they do seem to run narrow. Looking forward to trying these out, maybe this weekend. My experience on tightening. I tightened my first set quite a bit, got lean locked and received a bad injury. Not convinced that it was how tight they were, just a weird fall. I keep them a bit loose now with no issues in the last 5+ years.

On both exhaust manifolds there is water leaking out of what looks like a pinhole. There is a spot on both manifolds that looks like a weld? where the leaks are forming. Can this be cleaned up and patched with an epoxy, or maybe welded ? Thanks for any great suggestions.

Awesome video Marcus, I think all skiers should watch this and remember why they got into skiing, Because it was fun. I live on a ski lake and I wonder how many of the folks here really remember to have fun instead of just chasing buoy's. Collegiate skiing is Great !

I had a close encounter with a rattler last week as well. I was putting trash in the can and he was coiled up about a foot away. Never rattled at all. Too many critters here in Texas. Be careful at San Marcos, I'm about 20 minutes away from there at Aquaplex.

Was there at one time a page here that had common fin settings for a variety of ski's ? I have a Strada 55. Thanks

I started the season in my boardshorts and a heater shirt. 72' water. Never put the dry/wetsuit on. I am turning into a real puss as I get older !

I will always miss skiing with Zippy and Officer Friendly at Ski Park which is close to the Ho. Team Tuesday was a great bunch of people of all abilities having some fun on the water. Which is too damn cold !

Horton, are you moving to a lake site or ?
