@jipster43 @scotchipman The beauty of living in utah is I dont need to choose one or the other. I can have both although not year around. In the early 90's i did 2 years of straight winter skiing by leaving Utah and going to New Zeland for their winter. I realized then that I never wanted to live somewhere where it is winter year around and on the flip side I spend a couple weeks of winter every year in Hawaii. When I am there I miss my winter skiing. I am passionate about both but could never give one up for the other.

its not about which is better or giving up one or the other. This time of year I get excited to bust out the skis. I never said I was done water skiing for the year. I will ski until the lake freezes or until the lake is out of water this year. we typically try to water ski around Christmas eve and then in the spring we spend the morning in the mountains and then hit the lake during the afternoon so we get both in the same day.

One of the last and best days of the year. Also part time Gig. Top of Sundance Ski Resort. They let me blow $h!t up. Whats not to like about winter.

Anyone coming to Utah this winter let me know also. Would love to meet and ski with you.

@scotchipman I live for the winter there is no such thing as a bad day skiing on the mountain. When I was working at the Snowbird I managed to get 150 days a year in. Now I am 50 to 75 days. Major withdraws. I just love skiing snow or water. @markchilcutt Nice pic cottonwoods ?

Now that we have passed the unofficial end off the summer and as I turn my attention to Balls of Snow how many ballers love the white stuff. BOS

@skijay I feel your pain my local lake has rollers even with no boats on it. Hate ? @E_T Hate is such a strong word. Why so much anger ?

30 more years and I hope to still be there. I regularly ski with my neighbor who happens to turn 88 to today and is a living legend in Alpine ski world. It is great to see those that never give up.

@ejj the free ride is a fun ski and I also ski it with a 100 ft rope so its hard for me to compare it to the theory. The Satori i ride like a wake board. I hook the rope (wakeboard rope) to the tower and have fun. The Theory to the Senate is comparable. The senate is a little more demanding and likes to go faster not as versatile as the theory. If your are looking for a one quiver ski may I again recommend the Theory. IMHO My 2 cents

@horton How does Todd ski with one Radar Vice glove and an HO Tail. That is an interesting combo. Style points for the life jacket matching the shorts though. :) The wake looks awesome.

@Emil0509 I have the the HO Freeride 2013, and the Radar Satori 2013, and the Radar Senate 2011 and The Radar Theory 2012. All skis are 67" and I weigh 190lbs. I would consider myself to an Intermediate/Advance more to the advance side skier. I dont spend anytime in the course. All free skiing on big lake. Hands down I go with the Theory 99% of time. It is the best freeride ski I have. I ski it at 30 mph and love it. As far as binders i have the prime boot with rtp and the Vector with RTP. I like the vector with the RTP over the prime. The HO has the Basis boot and RTP. I dont like the basis RTP it bunches when i put my foot in the rear. now go ski them all and have fun. my 2 cents.
