  1. While 15 degrees may be a big difference, what's the actual water temp? When the tmps got into mid 50's, I used to add 0.10" of depth as a band aide, but agree with @bkreis, it's probably due to being cold and changing your stack, stance and balance.
  2. Today was the last day. Water 54, air, 50, but a big cold front coming this weekend.
  3. @MegaVega I'm checking on course in Lahontan, but sent you a PM as well
  4. @Bdecker Check with Brenda on the handle. I know she had an issue with the first prototype that were slippery, but don't believe any were sold to the public. The Blue Bomb grip is much better than most other handles.
  5. That reminds me… Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger, coke. Anyone remember that Belushi/Ackroyd SNL skit?
  6. Lean back and make a BIG spray, that way if your turn isn't so good, you'll still look cool.
  7. @Keith_Menard sandpaper? I have a BLUE Bomb and would not describe the great feel as sandpaper.
  8. @vtmecheng I can't argue on the part of her not returning your calls or emails, that not good. Maybe her business is outgrowing her staff, not necessarily a bad thing. Her website states she has supply chain issues. Buy another rope/handle if you need, just don't let this experience sour you/anyone from future InTown purchases.
  9. It's a different world we live in these days. Most every business has some sort of supply chain issues. Give her a bit of a break. If you need a handle or rope that bad, maybe it's your fault for waiting so long. I have a spare rope and old handle (at least 1-2) if needed in an emergency.
  10. And what happens if the skier makes the entrance/exit gates and all 6 balls but falls and loses the handle during his pull out to drop at the end of the pass? Come on, we've all done that at least once, right?
  11. Sorry to high-jack... but for those that have a boat on a lift, any reason to use carpet over the wood bunks? Unless the water gets low before we turn the pump on again, we don't drive/powerload the boat on/off the bunks.
  12. I don't recall the specifics and may not be any of my business, but let's bring back @MS
  13. Mac using chrome seems ok, but iPhone requires login each time
  14. I was thinking that @MS has been awfully quiet these days and now I know why, but not why he was banned.
  15. Panty hose, it was good enuff for Joe Namath.
  16. We had a similar problem with no spark at the cap/rotor, replaced both and all has been well ever since.
  17. I had this happen a few years back, Turned out that the hole the screw goes into was cracked so the screw wouldn't stay in. Everything worked but the top would just pop off. Duct taped in on the first day, then superglued it on after that. Ended up getting new boots and had a good back-up pair if needed.
  18. Something I need to continually work on. I find it easier to do on my off-side pulls as for my onside, I tend to pull too hard and start coming up with too much roll and upper body starts getting pulled down course.
  19. @horton cute? You should lose your man card for that :D
  20. Placing a swim cap over a standard buoy seems like it would work, at least from a fit perspective. But, the added cost of the cap does not seem worth while and I'd just replace the buoys. Might be ok if it's 1-2 buoys as a temporary means.
  21. I actually have an orange swim cap I use when the water is really cold. I'll check the fit next time at the pond
