  1. @Youghskier That was my home site for many years. Great place to ski (for a public lake).
  2. Had similar experience as @BCM. Engine would surge and then get too soft at times in an effort to end up with good times. It also felt like we were skiing with a steel cable. Got tired of messing with the settings as none seemed to fix the issue. Changed to practice mode and the surging went away, the pull felt better and times were still good. None of us ski tournaments so practice mode isn't an issue.
  3. @A_B Sure you can't use a 69, may be a bit easier to find.
  4. Radar Senate probably the alloy, but if coin isn't an issue, go with the Lithium.
  5. @Horton, please share. Still too cold to be skiing here.
  6. @Horton Ever wonder why some of us really dislike you at times? :D
  7. BOA has very little to do with the size of the boot, maybe for a wider foot, but not so much for length. As for the stitching, if it's just started, use some gorilla glue to stop it from getting worse. Forgetting all else, if $ isn't the primary concern, get the carbitex, well worth it!

    Nautique 206

@Spuddy I had an 2004 206 with tower and bimini. Folding the tower is easy enuff, but it really depends how you attach the bimini to the tower, and what portion of the tower you need to fold. Every setup will be a bit different. I only skied at 34 mph and 28-off or shorter and while not as good as a 196, it's very close.
  9. @horton With regards to Fred and Wilma, will the next ProStar be Brown (Barney) or Blue (Betty)? :D
  10. Just a swim cap for me. Tried the Camaro top, very nice, but kept coming off, even after I tightened it.
  11. @nando They needed a helmet, they just didn't know they needed it.
  12. About 8-9 years ago, we had 20+ members. Showing up after 9am on a weekend typically meant you may be waiting an hour or 2. Nowadays, there's no waiting and we ski whenever we want. We could use a few more members.
  13. FWinter has to be on the list. Kinda like watching Evel Knievel... while you want him to succeed, if he doesn't at least you'll see a spectacular crash!
  14. @UWSkier Definitely try a radius handle. As for your starts, the baseball grip isn't helping your right elbow. On the palms down starts, to prevent the rolling, move the handle closer to your middle knuckles/fingertips.
  15. Hate it when they get into your bindings and you forget to check, then at the end of your pass, you feel this irritating tickle on your foot :D :D
  16. Check UPS, FedX and other shippers, they may be a better option and less risk than the airlines.
  17. I’ll free ski our private pond a lot, just start skiing 10-20’ before the course starts.
  18. Not sure I get the sneeze plate on the ProStar :D
