    I have 98 with gt40 800hrs and pull it with 95 lightning gt40 175k .boats oil clean no use .truck burns and leaks some but still strong. But at 34 mph in the boat I'm turning 3400 in the truck 2000 rpm.so hard to figure but the boat never rides for 7 straight hours at 80mph .long as it's cranks I'm good.

    I been using there handle and I really liked it but I wore it out .I ordered a new 1 and payed for it in august but have yet to even get a response .

    Get the beard like santa .and hopefully get my handle from usgear I thought if I ordered it in august I would have it for Christmas but maybe next christmas.

    For those with a close system you still should drain the exhaust manifolds there cooled by lake water.

    I think I heard that cobles pulls there engines and put a used 1 in then when sold they put the new engine back in.

    I have heard there is a new design coming.don't know if it's because of mc.it's just time to update and make even better.

    I like the bike anology I've ride a bike with low pressure work your ass off. My vapor I was running a long shallow setting I skied well thought this is it then tried the shallow deep easier to get up and skis with less work .

    I always wondered if you can work on technique if your ski isn't set up right .stock is good but there's always a chance a tweet here or there it might even be better and let you ski better form. I'm just a hacker and if my ski isn't right I fight it and it makes me have bad form trying to make the ski do things it won't do does this make sense a couple of us always chasing best set up cause the ski making us do bad things and couple of us ski stock and say it my form .o well

    I put the old rs1 back on I noticed the rubber was about twice as thick as the blue vapor I blew

    I was looking at my boot I believe a shoe cobbler could sew a new back rubber in has any 1 tried this .it looks repairable I took a razor and slit the material were the rubber is sandwiched got the old sliver of rubber out now I can lay a new 1 in and sew it and reinforce it better .the back rubber really gets twice as thin were they sew it very little material might even cut my own .

    Well I been on rs1,s since they came out me and at least 3 of us never blew 1 out so I got me a 16 vapor (wow so far so good).bought a used 15 vapor boot looked new and rode it 30 passes and blew the back out .well back to the old rs1 .wonder if you could sew it back or is the rubber weak on the newer ones.

    There's just a few to pick from and me and ski buds ski year round for long time .48 degree water thru the yrs we've used them all ,there all good .but the aderiniline is the best bang for the buck and u can layer . Drysuit the best invention since sliced bread.

    I think that 02 is probably a 5.3 chevy I might be wrong but by 02 ford pulled out of pcm.

    I want a hydraulic platform with up down button on transom .push it it lowers foot under water and then lifts my old ass up

    You can buy most of them at the local sporting good cheaper and take the boots off

    Never have figured why they don't have a tube for sliding steering cable threw .it would be nice

    So far I'm liken the ski I'm got a 67 "L6.97 d2.43.dft . 733 moved my sequence half hole forward seems better might try some more after couple more sets.only 4 sets

    Hey I've had 10 passes on this 16 vapor 67"I think I need to move bindings what holes are you using with a sequence plate I'm a hole and a half back from what I guess is center to be at 29.50 vapor boot

    Rode my new to me 16 today I've never got on new ski and went right to average first set 22,28,28,2@32 no falls or misses tell 2 ball got lean lock little dug myself into wake head first . second set 4@32 alls good but gate I'm snap turning can't roll in on tip .feel good and bang on the tail but really only at the turn for gate .thinking of moving boots like 8th forward ?.

    I ski course year round dry suit the works luv it but next to my nautique is a champion bass boat I fish bass tournaments regularly so there are fat lazy skiers to, like me.

    I also had about 9 dislocation and was able to put back myself tell the last 1 I stuck my arm in at 2 ball had to be knocked out at emergency room to get it back .never surgery lots of popping but doc told me the only thing about getting old u get stiff so I'm 58 it's been 20 yrs since my last (knock on wood) .my arm always got so stiff I couldn't move it for 2 weeks and hurt damn. I had at least 6 weeks to go back to work and 3 mths to ski.take your time get it back strong it takes a while.Im sure everyone's is different .

    I learned on 2 first if you have never tricked they are slick as owl sh#^ .I think back before concussion was a big deal those 16 mph edge grabs gave me a headache but that was back when the only way to learn barfoot was step out of a slalom whoa those were some eye peelers as well.

    Yea when I did them I put a longer flater bevel and the up frt were it was rubbing hard.mounted them cut and beveled then took a 7in grinder with 80grit and worked those spots I would like to see how it looks .I did someone else's haven't seen it since last summer. They had someone else do them and with the steep bevel they put the boat pushed out on them and snapped the bunks right in to. .the contour is a long and short board cut at angle and butted together with carpet they look curved but yours might be
