    I know Terry Winter is using a lot of tape, not sure if it is 400, but saw him release at a tournament couple of weeks ago in Sacramento. Chatting with him prior to the fall, I'd say his theory was more tape is better, then when it needed to, it still released.

    I use O-rings, and just wrap them around the strap and middle 2 fingers. Works great for pennies. I think I'm at 56 sets for this season on first set of O-rings. This type of fix makes up for the extra gas my 200 burns, HA! The size of O-ring is 029 I believe.

    Make certain that the blind nuts on the bottom of the plate are not bent and causing the tape not to bind completely when you lock it down. Anything holding the two sides of tape apart will cause pre-release. I found this and mine stopped. I added just a touch more 250 than what came on the ski.

    It will never cost less money than now to upgrade. I just sold a 2007 with ZO and bought a 200. I highly recommend the upgrade. Much better boat, we are loving it.

    I'm buying a used 200. Heard there is an issue with the rope haning up/chaffing on the hinges for the storage bins. Is this a big enough problem to worry about? Heard of any simple solutions? Replace the Sano pads with current year? Assume they are thicker?

    I just ordered a 9960 mid. So I take it we have to install the velcro upon arrival? Wow, never heard of a fin that showed up even close...
