  1. Re-Power is your best option, GT 40 parts are getting hard to find. My previous boat was a 96 and I loved it. For what you are describing that hull will serve you well. I haven't skied behind a Tige I can't comment on a comparison for that hull. In general it doesn't track as well as the TSC's but still a great boat.
  2. @rockdog I am trying to help my brother sell this, I don't have first hand knowledge of the engine other than it has an exhaust leak and one cylinder that is less than the average of the others. The ZO has also been intermittent, is that a puck and is fixed with an upgrade to a single puck or is it the head unit. The trailer bearings and brakes haven't been touched and the boat has only been used a couple of times in the past few years. The current price could be a win if all fixes are minor but it also allows for more significant work if needed based on current market prices. Just trying to be completely transparent, I don't want my name associated with a bad deal.

I am running the same oil Horton posted, it was recommended by the dealer I purchased the boat from. 5W-30 seems more appropriate then Rotella and if something happens I will let the dealer fight it out with Ilmor. Update from The Dealer / Ilmor Rotella 15W-40 is the correct oil for the 6.0. I will be changing tonight.
  4. The Technical Controller at the Western Regional tournament brought in two sets of ropes.

    The Masterline optimized 2 and Syndicate ropes. Each skier was give a choice. In my opinion this was great option for the skiers with very little hassle.
