  1. Hi @Than. ..good skiing...glad it's still warm 20 miles east of here...As a long time fan/user of "pin systems" (fogman for well over 10 yrs) I have been very interested in the ob4s...My ONLY question has been whether one could release only one boot...big "NoNo" for me...I thought the answer was no but if I read your post correctly it may be yes...would you clarify sometime at your convenience
  2. 10 years ago some friends from MA convinced me to go visit and ski Pangaea...am I glad i did! besides being an awesome place (like @than and @chef describe), my family now counts the Vosburghs as our dear friends. This week end I will be going up there by myself for the first time in ten years...older son in college and younger son injured. But it's been a great family affair for all these years. Will look forward to meet @slvrbulit
  3. I wish i could still add my name to the @patmaster and @kdeupser camp...up to about 3 years ago i was in the same boat...very good 28s, 50% 32s, PB 2@35...last couple of years not so good 28s, maybe 5% 32s...well, if i ever get back to good 28s i will follow the advice on learning 32/35
  4. The panel on mine just "sits" there now...originally it was held by one (or two) screws near the top. remove screws and slide it up...it does require a bit of manipulating to free it up. once removed use two wrenches to tighten the bolt/nut on the pylon. awkward position but doable
  5. Also testing a Conquer...a couple of questions please...O'Brien size/weight charts not helpful... at about 140-145 lbs would the 64.5 be the right size? @Drew says 66 not as good as 64 and 68, so i'm hoping the 64 would be the right size for me. Also O'Brien's fin numbers are: L=6.730; D=2.495; DFT=0.720; Boots=28.25". anyone can confirm or suggest other #'s? I'm also testing an 65.5 Endo and cannot get the fin to the L # unless i modify it as it bumps up against the screws on the fin block (I posted on separate thread regarding the Endo). Thank you!
  6. trying out a 65.5 Endo...O'Brien website has the following #'s:L=6.725; D=2.505; DFT=0.720; Boots 28.75'...would anyone confirm if these are correct? I cannot even get to the L=6.730 (using tips) unless I modify the fin...it bumps up against the holding screws. Any suggestions or different numbers? Thank you
