10 years ago some friends from MA convinced me to go visit and ski Pangaea...am I glad i did! besides being an awesome place (like @than and @chef describe), my family now counts the Vosburghs as our dear friends. This week end I will be going up there by myself for the first time in ten years...older son in college and younger son injured. But it's been a great family affair for all these years. Will look forward to meet @slvrbulit
-
Hey @chef are you about my size? lol
-
A big "shoutout" to my good friends Dar and Gal!!! Awesome!!! And, if I may, Good job coach @Than!!
-
@Chef23 are we challenging each other on how many skis we can buy this year? Glad the N1 seems better now...good luck!
-
I wish i could still add my name to the @patmaster and @kdeupser camp...up to about 3 years ago i was in the same boat...very good 28s, 50% 32s, PB 2@35...last couple of years not so good 28s, maybe 5% 32s...well, if i ever get back to good 28s i will follow the advice on learning 32/35
-
@MattP like your advice (except I'm a bit too old for the fist pump and scream...). @Ilivetoski @ntx no and i agree
-
I am sure they knew the rules...but i didn't...I stopped skiing once i missed the gates..

The panel on mine just "sits" there now...originally it was held by one (or two) screws near the top. remove screws and slide it up...it does require a bit of manipulating to free it up. once removed use two wrenches to tighten the bolt/nut on the pylon. awkward position but doable
-
Back in March, I sold mine - 2012 S2, 65.5in - for 25% less than yours...essentially new condition...i was very surprised as well that i had such hard time selling it...at that number i should have kept it as a spare...
-
My 2008 LXi has a bolt/nut assembly just under the floor..difficult to get at but doable... i find i tighten mine every couple months or so...
-
@Chef Where were you last week before my run? It would have been good if i knew the rule then...LOL
-
@Horton ...I am pretty close except for the DFT where i was at 0.720...will try your #. Thanks again!
-
got the 64...will try later today hopefully...
-
@jayski sorry i missed your post with your advice...thank you! I changed the L today to 6.850 (tips) and it made a definite difference for the better
-
Thank you!!!
-
Thank you so much! take your time... when it's convenient for you is good enough
-
Thanks again @Horton...the Elite #'s on the O'Brien site are exactly the same as the Endo's...not much help there.
-
Thank you @Horton! This is helpful as it shows a significant change from the factory #s. Anyone with 65.6 #s?
@chef23 a friend of mine letting me try one.
-
Also testing a Conquer...a couple of questions please...O'Brien size/weight charts not helpful... at about 140-145 lbs would the 64.5 be the right size? @Drew says 66 not as good as 64 and 68, so i'm hoping the 64 would be the right size for me. Also O'Brien's fin numbers are: L=6.730; D=2.495; DFT=0.720; Boots=28.25". anyone can confirm or suggest other #'s? I'm also testing an 65.5 Endo and cannot get the fin to the L # unless i modify it as it bumps up against the screws on the fin block (I posted on separate thread regarding the Endo). Thank you!
-
trying out a 65.5 Endo...O'Brien website has the following #'s:L=6.725; D=2.505; DFT=0.720; Boots 28.75'...would anyone confirm if these are correct? I cannot even get to the L=6.730 (using tips) unless I modify the fin...it bumps up against the holding screws. Any suggestions or different numbers? Thank you

@Than I thought you had the new OB4...where does the dual lock come in???
-
I'm sure you'll have plenty of takers...I would be one likely, but need a ski now...
OB4s helped me out today
