I also do what @Than suggests (your 2nd/3rd pic). I use InTow ropes (same design idea) but InTow makes the loops fit the pylon pretty well...smaller loops for CC/MC and slightly larger for later models Malibus for their bigger pylon tops...

Ice out...course in...boat out of storage on driveway...like @chef23 said, cold coming again...

Wade is a legend skier and awesome guy...skied a few times with him in MA...good learning and good fun! These are from about 12 or so years ago...with my (then) young son and some friends (on a very cold June day in MA...). Best wishes for his new coaching school! Hope to meet again!

@KM a bit of "'apples and oranges" but i believe relevant. I have used Fogman (same plunger arrangement front and back as OB4) for about 10 years and only drilled on the very first ski. On the last 3 skis I have used "adapter" plates using the conventional inserts only. Up front I use a strip of 3M tape...so far (~6 years) no issues.

@mmosley899 congrats on a nice looking system! As a long time Fogman user I am very interested in learning about the "mechanics" of your release approach as it differs from the single plate Fogman. You mentioned there will be a video explaining that sometime in the future...any update on timing for that? Thank you and good luck!

As a long time Fogman user I am intrigued by the dual plate approach while still using the spring-loaded "plunger" fore and aft. Without disclosing any proprietary information, can someone describe how the release mechanism works - I'm interested in understanding how the plates attach/interface at the center and what/how it improves front foot heel release. Thank you.

 

Separately and just out of curiosity, @RAL why does ski weight matter but not if under the bindings? I assume you mean ski weight vs. overall weight????

looks very interesting and intriguing...when will there be some technical information on "how it works"? Looks like Fogman-type spring loaded pins front and back but i can't make out the details of the individual plate interface at the center (from the pics on the website). looking forward to learning more...

Let me add a good word about the gentleman selling the vests. I purchase two vests size M (thank you @foxriverat for the heads up). good fit for me and my son (both in the 145-150 range). younger son might fit in a Small. Called gentleman and he was very pleasant, is sending me a Small and allowing me to return it or one of the Medium if i so choose...lastly the vests are very nice and brand new.

I bought the Titanium 2mm shorty (long sleeve) back in May...posted previously on the "above and beyond" service from @waterskigirl. In the spring it was "like a dry suit"...truly amazing. @Wish this fall I noticed that there was a water "trickle" through the zipper...not terrible but very noticeable as compared to the "zero leak" in the spring. Called @waterskigirl about a few small surface tears and was told to use acquaseal on them...not being too concerned about the final look I went overboard and surely they're fixed...but someone more careful could end up with a nicer finished look. Eventually may try to use the acquaseal along the zipper, but have not done that...it'll have to wait until the spring. For my "money", Camaro and Robby SkiShop=great product and super service!!!

same as above - remap both directions; course may be short; does not affect speed. If it is short, you should hear the last beep (exit gates on the good direction) 3 feet after the gates (although 3 ft at 36 mph may be tough to correlate audio/visual).

3 years ago our floating course was 17ft too long (without our knowledge - all PP boats at the time). Got my ZO boat and immediately detected the problem. Was able to confirm with stop watch as well as google earth that in fact, we were 17ft long.

@gator1 unfortunately I have not yet had the time to get my Fogmans modified with the gatormod...hopefully a winter project...as to your question above, dual lock is a non-starter for me. On the other hand, as the improvements you mention can be applied to the basic fogman system, I'm all for it.

@MattP Thank you! I'm a "newly minted" M6 so I ski at 34mph...28/32 off...see 35 on rare good days...you have 10-15 lbs on me but also ski at 36...so at my lower speed i may be ok also with either a 65 or 66?

Does Connelly have a 2013 size/weight chart for the prophecy? can't seem to find it. If not, any advice on 65 or 66 for a 140-145lb guy? Thank you!

Unfortunately for me, I am no threat to anyone whether moving out of or into a new division...so nobody worry, but (again unfortunately) I have skied my last M5 tournament and my next one will be M6...oh well...I am alive and healthy enough to do it...quite a priveledge...

 

I watch many water-skiing promotion-related videos. I never met Mr. Marcus Brown (although years ago I skied with your friend Terry Winter). I have only owned CCs and Malibus. I have to say congratulations on a truly awesome video. Well balanced and well done!
