  1. I think lowering is refering to the distance between the wing and the bottom of the ski. Back in '97 I believe skis came with the wing closer to the bottom of the ski and people started flipping them upside down to get them lower. I think west wing has something to do with the white house.
  2. Does anyone have a 124 degree wing gauge? I think I'm going to try it when the water gets cold.
  3. Couple of questions for Joe: 1. When the skier begins the next round do they have the option of which end of the lake to begin? 2. Can the LOC plan the tournament and make it mandatory to use the T&B? So for a 2 round tournament every skier only gets wet once.
  4. We can all make educated guesses with limited info about your skiing but Horton is right about the best way to know for sure is to try both. If you are near the East Bay or Sac give Rich @ NorCal MasterCraft a call, 925-460-9216. They are a Radar dealer and should have 2011 demo skis soon.
  5. I'd say if you're already running 28 go with the 66. If you are not go with the 67.
  6. So assuming shorter skiers are lighter and taller skiers are heavier (Horton being the exception) is Zero Off the equalizer for taller skiers having greater reach?
  7. I've seen to many of those Straightlines break to trust one behind the boat. I used the same Masterline for about 5 years and had it restrung every other year. Just bought another size and now it's my backup. Masterline has quality stuff.
  8. Didn't think you'd be a fan of a show where hillbillies could fool the cops week after week. Maybe Hazzard County should buy a helicopter!
  9. I must have missed that episode. Is Davey Duke Daisy's cousin, brother, or both?
  10. Here' s my theory: The satellite logo on the page tells me that the Strada has the ability to control the GPS speed control system and Eddie Jr. is in China right now getting more circuit boards built.
  11. These pictures are totally inappropriate for this thread. They should be moved to the Vice thread.
  12. Sounds good, as long as it's not a half shirt!
  13. I don't know. Wearing a Baller Bash tournament t-shirt around here in the San Francisco Bay Area may prompt some awkward questions. Can you call it something else?
  14. Interesting that the catalog says that the Strada is the first ski designed for GPS cruise control. Maybe this is why Horton has been liking ZO lately? Any theories on what makes this possible?
  15. 2011 Radar Catalog http://timesprintingdigital.com/a/?KEY=radar-10-09catalog#page=9&zoom=1 Looks like they are making a 69.5" Strada for Chef23 in case he misses his off-season weight loss goal!
  16. For anyone who wants to bet tomorrow on Pro skiing bring plenty of ones and meet in front of the Supra.
  17. A friend of mine is working for this startup and just sent me this link. Footage looks pretty good from the boat. Don't know if it's waterproof but I would think that version is in the works.  http://www.fastcompany.com/1689172/looxcie-bluetooth-headset-camcorder-is-tivo-for-life
  18. I rode the 68" before dsmart and only messed with the bindings. 1st tried the front binding a little past 30" but the ski came alive as it moved back. Very easy to ride and I liked the consistency. Can't wait to try it again with some fin adjustments. I weigh 205, dsmart is a little more. I'll let him respond with a more exact number in case it's a sensitive subject.
  19. I'd like to see some stats. Who are the users and which direction have their scores gone since using the vest?
