  1. @mmosley899 any updates on this system? I am in need of new bindings, this looks very cool
  2. It looks the opposite of that photo a few weeks ago where his back side was in the water at nearly the same place in the course
  3. That is a beautiful tribute Kristy When Andy is face to face with the Creator of the universe and everything in it, I believe God will say "well done my good and faithful servant". What more is there? Thanks Andy, blessings to Deena, Mike and Elyssa
  4. Godspeed Goat, and prayers of strength and comfort for your lovely family....
  5. OB that's funny, but the panda is priceless....
  6. Than_Bogan as you know Stubbs is a Hot Spot for BBQ and live music, Sail n Ski is one of the top if not the top Nautique dealership, I think they may have something to do with it, I will be checking on it tomorrow.
  7. How bad is it half way down the lake, where the steeper bank is?
  8. Hey Todd, that is between the dock and shore, it will take minimal excavation and some sloped riprap cages. I can do the excavation and place the riprap with a Hoe, the ground there is very solid, not steep, excavator with smooth bucket would be great, but Hoe will do, less money. I will be back from Socal mid July, will come visit. J and I talked about doing that years ago, its gotten MUCH worse, WOW. Than_Bogan no permitting here its the wild west
  9. From what I understand slight flex side to side, more of a standard flex up and down, engineering a spine that flexes and maintains its structural integrity is not new, but now it is to a slalom ski. The torque box on Mapple skis is new and very innovative, as well as D3 adjustable rocker tail, which are also a change from "standard" engineering, we all want these ski developers to push it so we can have the best and we keep laying down a couple grand every year or two because we want the latest best thing, that's ok. I'm sure they are testing in the shop with presses and other instruments but also there have been several powerful skiers crushing it at rather short line, CP how many have you broke?
  10. klindey you are correct, NM is a hot dry wasteland unless you are up in the mountains near colorado
  11. I think Tom Brantly was from NM and skied on a river.
  12. Than, Very little water in New Mexico, and much regulation. A friend owns a large ranch on the Pecos River, mostly dry with flash floods if ever a rain event. You should come to Austin Texas, water, lakes, great skiing community and much employment for Geeks and engineers, not saying you are one or anything..... If you would like to visit there is much I can show you.
  13. Than_Bogan, I completely agree with you, I was just wanted to sound smart like you....done
  14. Mr. Jones, I like what your thoughts on less drag, less abuse on lower back, possibly lessening the harsh reality of Zero off on this old man. Tevskis, I love what you are saying about it and the excitement you have for it. Anticipation of something new and profoundly better, more fun, is cool. After digesting much of the thoughts on this ski it really makes sense, articulation makes anything turn easier, tighter, with less pressure, load etc.... I have operated many trucks, tractors, earth movers carrying excessive loads, articulation makes them very maneuverable.
  15. rudder like, but a rudder is active or mechanically activated, you steer with a rudder, this flex is passive or reactive, "passive articulation".......ok done.....looking forward to skiing one.
  16. It has to be, look what the Tower is doing on it.....

  18. Hmmm......optical delusion.....great I was concerned it blew off
  19. Todd, the jazzy chick, Kate playing the upright bas is HOT!!!
  20. ED, thought I was watching Roy Orbison for a minute, but don't think he could ski like you, that is great!!!
  21. You sir are correct when it comes to the Nano's, I skied the 9100, 9200, 9500, 9700 and the twist I got from you without, do not remember much of the 9500 but I liked the others. I love the XT. Trying to remember, did you use wing on the twist?
  22. Pretty much stock, bindings 29.0625, fin .705, 2.500, 6.75. But the crazy thing for me is wing at 9.5, I took my wing off 15 or more years ago when skiing with B LaPoint at a clinic, said wasn't needed until 35 off, and he was right when skiing good I could run 35 without it, have never used one until the Nano, and now will not remove it, I finally agree with MS.
