  1. Thanks for your comments - xrays were not clear as to what I have done but I know that I will not be skiing for a while. I was skiing on the sea, behind a rib, and I hit too big a wake too hard! I ski on the sea as it is my only option at home but I think that I might need a boat with a smaller wake. It is too rough for a Malibu (to get to where we ski) but I was thinking of a Boston Whaler. Any skied behind one?
  2. Any of you ever fractured your ribs skiing?

    Rough water

Thanks, I think my legs were too stiff - natural reaction was to fight. I also need to work on keeping my hips forward when it is rough.....
  8. When I can I go to France to ski on a lake but the rest of the time I am on the sea free skiing. I live in Guernsey which is in the English Channel. After a couple of years great coaching my skiing is improving (running the course at 52kph). My question is any advice on skiing in less than perfect conditions? Conditions were far from perfect yesterday and I found it really difficult to keep my new better position? I still enjoy skiing even when conditions are not great but a way to enjoy it more would be even better! Thanks in advance Rup
  9. Thanks I might save myself some money and get the ZX3 then.
  10. I was looking at the ZX5 which I believe is the latest one - looks great.
  11. Great video - which play sport is it - I am thinking about getting one.
  12. TS - mail sent. I wonder if they know what a baller is in Europe?
  13. Would it cost much to send one to Guernsey in the Channel Islands?
  14. I am Rupert, 35 years old and live in Guernsey in the Channel Islands. Married with a 2 year old boy who is too young to ski (according to my wife). Guernsey is a tiny island in the English Channel with lots of sea but no lake! I used to ski as a teenager but just messing around on the sea. I went for a ski holiday last year in France and spent five weeks in France skiing this year. Running the course at fifteen off but still building up speed. Last time I was away I switched from a Triumph 71" to an A1 68.75". Hoping that 2011 will be a good Ski year.
  15. Mine did not - do people change them to adjustable?
  16. Thanks, to be sure the measurement is to the back of the binding or back of my heel?
  17. Hi does anyone have any settings for this. Not skied on it for a while and wanted to try the ski again. I was going to use HO bindings either an Animal or an Approach with a Wiley RTP. Currently on a Triumph 71
  18. A Guernsey is also a type of sweater
  19. Yes it is the one by France. There is no ski lake in Guernsey!
