Skied in Lake Washington yesterday. 40 degree air, 42 degree water.

I called and asked for replacement laces for my EXO bindings, they said they would send some ... never came. I called again same story. I ended up going to Fred Meyer and opened up boot laces until I found some that would work. In years past I've had good experiences, but this year I was pretty disappointed.

Here are few pics I liked from our weekend at Lake Entiat.

This pic is from my Wade Cox "Wade Better" day up at Bow Lake in Washington.

@kreipe - I've been on EXO's since they came out and let me assure you they can (and do) release in an OTF. I've "tested" them many times with many entertained observers. I have the double cuff version and there is no way a foot could come out unless the top buckle was not fastened. Like anything they have their quirks but I wouldn't go back to rubber and have not had an injury since I switched from wileys.

I skied with one of these http://www.townsenddesign.com/Townsend_Design/Full_Shell_OA.html
townsend design custom braces for years after a micro-fracture surgery (and still have a missing ACL). It was my front leg and the brace took a beating from getting hit by my back leg. If I wasn't wearing a wet-suit I would cover the brace with a sleeve to protect my other leg. I stopped using it several years ago and haven't missed it, (still use it twice a week for basketball).

That's too cheap. Something is fishy.

We bought our first boat at the end of the summer, 94 MC 205. Can't wait for next year!

+1 for not over tightening the rear cuff. Other than that I'd suggest just giving them a few more tries.

@Brent I'm not sure how to post video so if this doesn't work let me know how.
Watch at your own risk.

I did but it is hard to watch. I had it pointing forward but my pole design was not "refined" yet and it spun around as I skied. I'll see if I can cut it down to something interesting that doesn't make people sick.
-
I made a pole to mount my GoPro above my head while I was skiing (my wife did not think it was a good idea but I'll let you be the judge). It didn't work "perfectly" but it did capture some interesting views.

I got the boat on Sunday and skied it this morning. This is my first boat and I had a lot on my mind as I took it to the launch and while I was skiing. It definitely works better when you put the drain plug in (hopefully the one and only time I make that mistake). The wake is great and the engine runs quiet and strong. The steering is a little stiff and the starter is a little weak, but I think it'll be a great boat.

I often ski behind a 2001 Sunsetter LXI and it skis great. I've heard the Sunsetter LX is even better but I haven't skied one.

Contact HO (they may have you work through the dealer). They should replace it with the new design.
Why won't my boat start when it's hot?
