@6balls what type of Doc are you?

 

 

I wish I would have known that you guys had a club/course in SD. I have been down here from MI for the past 5 days and would have loved to get some rides in. Unfortunately I will be leaving tomorrow. I will bring my ski on the next trip for sure.

 

 

I ski a radar and set it to them with the carbon plate and they drilled and put inserts in so the plate does not bend/bow back. Has worked great for over 2 seasons now.

never mind.....I did not read the fine print that said to "map the course 1st"

 

I just purchased the upgrade from PP classic to stargazer and Z box. I have the system installed and ready to start the initial set up with baselines. From everything I have read this (8) version works with out any timing assistance (magnets). The instructions indicate the course mapping is one of the last thing to do. I don't understand this because in order to set rpm baselines you have to drive through a course and have the system time then calibrate if needed. How will the system pick up the gates and balls if the mapping is last and there are no magnets???

 

I am probably incorrect and read the manual wrong...but I am setting the system up tomorrow morning and looking for any help from you all.

yes!! Has worked great so far. I had an Achilles injury last yr on the normal Reflex after using the white cuff w/ the strap I have had some big OTF and no problems with the ankle or Achilles.

 

 

Wally...Great customer service! I ordered 6 turn buoys on Sunday morning and I received a call from Wally Sunday afternoon thanking me for my order and to let me know they would be shipped to my house by Wednesday. Just a great guy!! He earned my future business as well.

The white has been great. Hurt my achilles on the regular boot with a OTF. I have 2 good yard sales OTF with the white and no pull or strain on achilles. I'm a believer!!

Just got done skiing with Brent today. What a fantastic place and a very good instructor. I definitely will take what I learned and work on them for a few weeks and head back for another lesson. Just a super good guy with a great attitude.

 

I am sure there is. I have not got the final word from @Triplett on time and max number of people. I will have 4 which I don't think is a lot...

Ok...looks like we will have 4 people that would like to get some coaching Sunday. What time are you thinking?

@Triplett, Thank you I will check my schedule and see if I can muster up a few guys (make it worth your time) for this weekend Sunday. Brooks was working on increasing my speed, I have always skied at 32 and now I would like to go at 34. I am just a hockey player tying to ski....My goal this year is -22@34 not much but it would be huge for me.

 

@Triplett, Thanks for the info. I will find out if it is jeff's site that my buddy is talking about in Grand Blanc. Jeff is a great guy and said I could get a few pulls at his site, but I have just been to busy. Are you back in MI? I skied with Brooks Wilson this spring in FL and MattP was over and mentioned that you are a good instructor and I should get some coaching from you when possible. I would not have any issue driving to Clio to learn and try to get better. I have improved since working with Brooks. I would like to keep moving forward.

I think there is a proved site in Grand Blanc that an older gentleman owns that has a new CC every year you pay a annual (i think 2-3k) and have at it. I can find more out tomorrow I will be skiing with a guy who is a member there.

Anyone know where Lyon is? city, cross roads?

@GMC is your course up this yr on Oakland? I was over there this past weekend and did not see it up. We went over to Woodhull and got a little skiing in before a few guys had to pull it.

Spartanski, I live in Lk Orion. Do you have a course on Maceday/Lotus/Greens Lakes? I live on a private lake but have to put the course in/out when we ski. My neighbors will not sign off to get a permit to leave a course in permanently. We manage pretty good 15-20 min in and 12 out. If you are ever in need of a pull let me know. We usually ski on my lake on the weekends and if time allows we go to other lakes that are public with a course on weekdays.

95 ps 190 is an awesome boat. i feel the wake is as good as any.
