🤔 I gotta say I’m completely at odds with you on the Denali 3.1. I ran more 38s on that ski than all my other skies combined over a few decades. Maybe I was sent numbers that just worked. There were plenty to try. If I remember, they were not really looking to produce skis for the masses. And if memory serves me the Adams were mostly tossed into the fray of ski builders. Outed if you will, as some started to show up in the wild. So they went ahead and got a bunch of skiers at all levels to provide them feedback and learned from it which I think was maybe more of a goal then selling skis. Experimental fin settings was the order of the day back then and lots of them. IMHO it was a ski you had to accept as feeling different on the water than any other ski as well as feeling comfortable feeling different in order to appreciate it. A statement repeated by many that rode them. Oddball…?..perhaps. But as crazy as it may sound you could not pry that ski from my hands for anything. I still take it for spins now and then and it still rips. Can’t say the same for myself but for me it’s still a great ski to ride. 

And not a sea of Goode Skis either. Nice to see a variety and cool to see a Denali. 

Wow… earned another. I’ll wait to hear why that was a stupid question.  I don’t trick. Never follow it and have no clues about it but maybe I’m the only one ?
 

But getting a Panda has become a badge of honor. I’ll wear it with pride..again 😂 👍

Out of curiosity, it says “Open” for Nate in the trick category. I’m guessing that’s his rating?? Like slalom, do u have to trick a certain number of points to be considered “Open”?

For what it’s worth, Joel H rear boot is a carbon fiber speed skate boot. Most likely custom molded.  It is not meant to release in a fall as is the front boot. 

In depth no. But I did see it on the internet so it must be true. 😂. 
 

But seriously, I cannot think of one. I’m not including who used to be a 3 eventer before they became a slalom specialist. Or someone that tried 3 event every once in a while. Happy to be wrong but I don’t think I am? 

@MrJones I disagree. I believe he had one of the best 1 balls of the finals. I believe the chop at that end displaced his ski just enough that it put him in the water. Only overall skier to ever run 41.

So those that have been there, any shade to be had mid lake under trees or should we bring our own?? Also I’m assuming tomorrows (Sunday) start time is still 10am??…if I read that correctly somewhere. 

I’ve never seen any human in any scoring sporting event get so excited about a score of 0. It’s unfortunate that there is no skier of the day award. He’s earned skier of the Worlds for sure…or better yet, the year. I can’t wrap my head around the fact that he also holds the overall world record and did that more than once this year I believe. He is definitely on a trajectory to be a …GOAT. 
 

I’d have to agree with Cord, I think he hit the ball pretty square. Was fun to listen to the announcers, speculate whether he’s ever practiced 43 off as he approached the course. 

He does not look tall. Anyone know his hight.

It’s funny how many names have been tossed about as the next skier to run 41. And then Joel Polan does it. Pretty sure no one saw that coming. If it was a horse race we all were betting on.. Joel woulda been the loooong shot. 

When u say too radical.. is that in design and how it looked or did it ski that way.??
