Good thread. I remember watching my daughter get crushed by a certain boats wakes (yrs ago) first round (early am) and didn’t want to ski second and third. I somehow convinced her (probably bribed) and round two with a diff boat was a PB with way better wakes at slower speeds. Seemed half the wake size of the first round disaster. There’s way more to why kids back away these days but giving them preferential time and boat seems like a no brainer. It’s diff for each tournament but please add awards for Jr if u are not doing so. Make a world of diff to fight for a medal or trophy or a prize then a ranking number. 

@Horton there may be that one guy that stands up but I bet there’s a bunch more that are happy he said it so they don’t have too and get the blow back he got. Just sayn. My wife enjoyed the film. Planning do get my daughters view as she was into film making for a while. And skis.

Wasn’t sure which S-line thread to drop this in but this seems good.

I ski behind a 1997 SN with PP Classic. I have no trouble skiing behind my buddy’s 2008 with ZO on C1. My scores are the same behind both. To be honest, sometimes ZO feels easier. Spent the last 3 days absolutely struggling behind his boat. Checked my fin, checked ZO setting. Messed with my boot. Nothing helped. The rope was all that was left. But no way could it be the rope. He had an HO tournament line. I’d been skiing my S-Line for several weeks. Weeks prier to that it was in his boat for a week. Put the S-line back in his boat and WOW what a diff. Right back to my norm. For me it was the first time I ever felt a rope make that much diff. Like almost a full pass diff. Not sure what HO has for rope but it was a cable. S-Line medium stretch just felt easy and easy on my body which was also suffering from the HO rope. Won’t be making that mistake again. S-Line rocks. 

Wish they could drop the graphics. And lose the boat cam. A clean screen from that elevated camera is all that is needed. I passed the web cast link along to all my ski buddys. Hope they are ok with constructive criticism..aka suggestions.

in all seriousness what @BraceMakerposted we’ve used for yrs and yrs. Used to find them at Sams Club. Large, light, reasonably priced, and easy to carry with the shoulder strap and they last a loooong time. . 

Thought Stokes still made jumpers ..no? 

How about in the last 2 decades or so.

Not sure this would work but I believe hulls on  inner coastal boats often get their hulls painted with something those type creatures do not like to attach themselves to. 

All sorts of ways to deal with pipe flex. They can be made to be just as accurate. And so much easier to deal with in deep waters or worse if u have fluctuating water levels. 

Why not a float course? Drop it in and ski.

My wife and daughter actually watched both mens and women’s finals. My daughter who did broadcasting was blown away that it was “just a YouTube feed” and maintained that level of professional quality. There is no way they would have watched without it being ESPN quality fillers, interviews, commentary. They were asking all kinds of questions about the skiers and half the time Tony and crew answered it before I did. I was just waiting for them to walk away but TWBC kept their interest ..period.   Now I was working the volume control..up before interview started and down before it went back. I’d say the above comments may come off as complaints but let’s be honest. Without them, how would Tony know the level of the issue. I bet $$s he’s seen this and is doing what he (they) can to better the next broadcast. Hats off to the drone pilot(s). Fantastic view. If I had to make a suggestion it would be more of that on earlier passes (warm up pass) as the pros make it look a tad to easy but from 20’ up and 30’ behind it looks spectacular. I think we ALL can admit they just keep getting better. 

Have not read the whole thread but the easiest way I can think of to loosen up the Wiley as much as u can. Or get an old one u may had and start loosening it. Then start cutting it down. Basically work it through modifications until it is close to a toe kick as you can get..
