  1. Anyone found/have a manufacturing defect on their Vice gloves? The strap on one of mine was sewn on to the glove at an incorrect location. This caused the velcro of the inner "wrist pad" to not be able to attach to the other part of the velcro (and I have small wrists). Not sure I described that clearly enough, but I'll take a pic. Haven't gotten around to contact Radar or Eddie about it.
  2. Aquastar appears to not work with windows 7. It works in windows xp. Will give it a go today!
  3. @ShaneH - Looks like the DIACOM software you need to pay for, so I'm using the Aquastar software provided by zero off. I've installed the v.3.0.1.15 driver and then the aquastar software. It gives an error starting up "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application." I don't have the cable plugged in yet, and I hope that is the problem. Any ideas? I hope I'm not dead in the water.... Nothing on google. However the instructions do say to plug in the cable before starting up the program, so I hope that is the problem. (mrwegen1 has the cable)
  4. Thanks! @ShaneH and @ski4xtc
  5. @Horton - definitely going plus as soon as I can
  6. Thank you all for the help/comments. @Doug yes I have the password and serial number. @ski4xtc - It is probably too late to request the pic you offered, but if you can that would be great. I txt'd my buddy yesterday to take a photo of the plug on our boat and this is what was went. I don't think this is it as I expected a diagnostic port instead of plugging directly into the ECU.
  7. I plan to upgrade our clubs zero off from Rev Q to Rev R this weekend. I have the emot file along with all of the other software on my laptop. Our local dealer is going to loan us the cable, but I've heard that you need a special cable and it might not be the cable we're getting. Can someone describe or post a photo of where this cable plugs into on the engine? The boat is a 2012 Txi 5.7L. I can't make it out to the lake before the upgrade or I'd hunt for the connector location myself. I appreciate the help!
  8. The panda covering his eyes in disgust...... Skied pretty good on both KD and Connelly a while ago. D3 hasn't treated me so well so going to Radar.
  9. Thanks for the advice. My dad was a police officer and my mom was an insurance agent. I knew it was a bad idea! Just needed to convince the wife!
  10. 21 month old twins. We're just learning to blow bubbles in the water!
  11. Totally off topic. My wife is helping run a indoor playground for kids. They come to a place 2x a week for a few hours to let the kids run around and play with toys. Sort of breaks up the day for people who live in the pacific northwest during the winter :) My wife suggested as a fundraiser that we have vendors come to our basement in our house one day for a small fee ($10). These vendors sell misc stuff (crap) to ladies like chap stick, candles, etc. People from the play group and their friends would come to our house and buy things from the vendors. The "playgroup" would get the $10 per vendor money to help them in the following year. Now here is the catch. My wife also wants to serve wine and have a "donation jar". At first she wanted to chart $5 per glass, but I said no way in our house due to liability reasons. I still say no way with the donation jar due to liability reasons. Am I off base here? Need some more people to chime in with their input. I see it as a liability either way you cut it and I don't want to have any part of this in our house. Maybe each vendor needs to pass a DMV background check? :)
  12. Is this available for download yet? I want to upgrade our 2012 TXi. Any ballers in the Ore/Wash area able to do it?
  13. @MattP Thanks. I'm not sure if my club does that. I will find out.
  14. Stupid question, but does the statement in bold below apply to everyday practice? Say a noon ski set during lunch? Or does it just apply to practice right before the tournament (Friday afternoon). SANCTIONING CHANGES: Effective 1/1/2013, all boat drivers who tow skiers in USA Water Ski-sanctioned events must be current USA Water Ski Trained Boat Drivers or sport discipline-rated drivers. This includes USA Water Ski-sanctioned practices and exhibitions sanctioned through the club's "Members-Only" section of USA Water Ski's Web site and those sanctioned in conjunction with a tournament.
  15. I tried the canadian link. Even used a canadian web proxy to pretend i was in canada. Didn't work :( Anyone had any luck with the link from @wilecoyote ?
  16. It was an old shot from down in Mexico. I never would dare wear that thing in the states
  17. @Horton Thanks. I put on a suit instead. Nobody likes the "speed suit"
  18. Link seems to be broken. Is there a new location? http://ballofspray.com/www.ballofspray.com/NonJoomlaFiles/ski_sites_16.9,_6-8-11.kmz
  19. $12.50 plus to be registered in the state of Oregon I need to take a test and pay $10 to the state. I agree w/ @richarddoane and @jdarwin
  20. A little creative searching by including "florida" in the google query yielded what I was looking for. The FEND-ALL® FA http://www.scalisemarine.com/fenders.htm
  21. There are a few lakes up here in the northwest that have these fairly rigid white boat bumpers. They are very stiff, white, are a half circle and can fit around a 4x4 and attached with screws on the side. Mint lake has the ones I'm talking about and supposedly Greg Tate knows where to get them. I've called him but haven't heard back. I've also searched online and can't find them. Can anyone help? If not, do you have any boat bumper recommendations? Preferably something that can be easily mounted to vertical 4x4 pressure treated posts. Thanks
