I'm diggin this A1 love. So heartwarming!!!
-
Found the ski! Thanks guys!
-
Right on. I had one in a 68.75 size. The topsheet had some scuffs and discoloration by the time I was done with it. I don't care about looks, just looking for that ride. It's the one that made me fall in love with this sport.
I have an S2 that I repainted with Awlgrip. I was thinking an A1 would look nice with a white top.

I'm feeling nostalgic, and looking for one of my old favorites. Searches on Ski-It-Again turn up nothing. Makes me wonder, why are there no 66.25 or 67.5 HO A1's for sale?
-
No way! I didn't take you're tone as harsh at all. In fact, when I just got the ski, I was in a rush and didn't have the time to readjust my rear boot further back. That pushed my front foot 1/2 inch too far forward. The ski was still lightning fast but launched me at the wakes a couple times.
The next time at the lake, I set everything stock. From then on, all was well

I found that proper boot location was the key to riding this ski. I am 200lbs with a size 9.5 foot, and I am wearing a front OB4 binding with the Supershell w/heavy mods for fore-aft flex.
Set that front boot at stock and no more OTF's. If you are larger than a 9.5 foot, I'd consider a move back before going front.

it sure is awesome. It's strange how fast this ski is, but still consistent and predictable.

Thank you! This ski is special to me.

What's the story behind this???

Hey fellas! I'm liberating my 69" HO CX Superlite. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the ski. Why am I selling?? Well, that's what I do. Its my hobby. I bought the ski as a demo from Performance, and it is in wonderful condition. I'll post up some pics tomorrow. Feel free to PM me.
Edit: I forgot to mention, $400 shipped in the lower 48.
Thanks!

Also, when the sun shines directly on the ski, there is a yellowish/gold lattice work laid into the topsheet that REALLY looks cool.

Hi folks. Up for the taking here is a future classic! The Marcus Brown Edition HO Freeride.
All I am asking is $175 shipped. This ski is beautiful and rare! Just take a look.

I think you are getting a new boat. Congrats!!!

Im 205 and the 69" is rockin it for me. It's so fast that I have to make my edge change waaay earlier. Turns at or before the ball at almost any speed. I'm SUPER impressed.

YUP! Once the US Postal Dis-Service cracked the first Four inches off my 2012 HO S2. Ski was destroyed. There was no recourse either, as the box had no visible damage before I opened it.
Another time, I was trying to send a ski to another baller in England. Paid a hefty sum for the US Postal Service to ship it across, only for them to decide they cant find the address and sent it back to my local hub. They wouldn't refund anything, because, they shipped it all the way there... and back again.
