  1. Unbelieveable as it may seem - doing arm curls and extensions on a machine, with perfect form and very percise and deliberate movements cured me. I had it in both elbows.
  2. At one time there was ski club on the Severn River near Annapolis. Don't know much else......
  3. @Razorskier1 - After all that- You said (wrote) it in the most understandable way. Thanks!
  4. Now this whole thread makes more sense. @Jdarwin - I agree they get stiffer with age, but I thought they also got longer as well. I have "fidded" a 3 to 5 inch length of scrap rope into the center of a handle rope to shorten it. Your thoughts?
  5. @ Horton - I just saw you post here - Now that is funny!
  6. @Horton: Yea just about - and some of them can induce sleep.
  7. I am more of a lurker than a poster. I try to read every thread and each post within. I also try and comment only when I have something positive or helpful to contribute. This is one of those times. Get a Tempur Pedic!! We have the Grand model and it is worth every over priced penny. My wife calls it the "Big Marshmellow" It's so good you wont believe it till you have one yourself.
  8. @MartTee - Hey that was the best one so far - Really!
  9. @Stoner - Jack is the best guy and his site is awsome. Hope the weather is OK for you both.

NO OPEN BOW I have a 2007 197 MC open bow so I know and agree with what these guys are saying. It's a complete waste of good storage space and no one ever sits in the front. In fact I don't feel safe up there myself.
  11. Really great split screen video. Thanks! Oh and the best part - no insane music behind it. Thanks for that too.
  12. FINALLY! a video on Formula 1 worth watching. (twice)
  13. @MattP - Thanks for the advice - makes perfect sense - I just never thought of it. Haven't yet had a bad enough fall to really test the limits. I'm happy to say!
  14. @Ryno: Yes, thanks for the great shots. Looks good. Interesting that you put your superfeet in the shell and not in the liner. I put mine in the liner. I had the 2011's and just got 2012's (with stock liners). The shell seems to be stiffer. I also improved the comfort/feel/control by adding a flat pvc footbed from the Goode Powershells. It makes the whole bottom of the shell a flat surface.
  15. @ Ryno, I'd like to see a couple of close up pictures of that if you could.
  16. @rodltg2 - Where is this? Beautiful!
  17. Yes, I meant http://www.ez-slalom.com/ for all the parts. And the right parts are what makes the thing manageable/maintainable
  18. On a dead calm day, use the floating course as a template and drop in some semi/permanent blocks with bouys. If you prep it correctly on shore you can get it near perfect in just a few hours. Then pull the floater out. Go to skier to skier . com for all the good parts you'll need. You can do it with a snorkel.
  19. I thought I already posted this. I agree with jayski completely. Everyone says "pull through both wakes" I never see any of the top skiers doing that.
  20. To me waterskiing is kinda like drag racing. Years ago everybody was doing it - now not so much - and for a lot of the same reasons. Think about it - you could be the best/fastest but one slight mistake and you're out. On top of that someone (maybe it was Schnitz) once said that slalom skiing always ends in failure. And it does. That alone is what weeds them out pretty quick.
  21. Check this out. One of two caught out of the ski lake Christmas Day. Both about the same size. http://static.cl1.vanilladev.com/ballofspray.vanillaforums.com/uploads/FileUpload/47/e6640eab2260a9945a74dee4b20d4c.jpg
  22. @Ed: Would you give us more detail here? ie: Slide through the turn? twist what? etc.
