  1. Set of 5 anodized aluminum gauges - color coded 5,7,8,9,11 Degree. Good size 7" long 1/8 thick, good feel, easy to find in your tool box. $39.95 includes shipping anywhere in the USA. E-mail clinkatcfl.rr.com. I can take any major credit card for payment. They cost more than that to make. 55 sets left.
  2. US Gear - handle & mainline -Get the knotless mainline. I've had them all and USG really is the best. You can save money by getting an 8 section line. (less take off loops)
  3. This might help - Slide in to the PVC booms as much foam pipe insulation as it takes take the sag out.
  4. The Radar's are much, much better in use than the ML's. In the shop just trying them on it seemed like the ML's would be better but the strap bunched up on me after just a couple of sets and the overall fit and performance went out the window pretty much right after they got wet.
  5. I read the reviews on Veet. THAT is funny!!
  6. @rwskier Where is that? Looks really nice....
  7. I posted it somewhere else on BOS - The US Gear handle is pretty good. I went from a Custom Grip Masterline to the US Gear bent version with no problem. It's nice.
  8. It won't even make a dent and ware out your water pump and water conditioner in the process. Don't even try.
  9. @Razorskier1 What a great explaination!
  10. Any of you Ballers ever hear of "Claiming Races" where you could by the actual horse or car right off the track for 10% over cost. That would fix all this.
  11. We ship hundreds of packages a day. Yes the USPS is the cheapest. I would send it UPS ground and insure it for the value. Probably would not use Fedx ground. They use independent contractors for delivery of ground packages. (even though they are in Fedx logo'ed trucks)
  12. @Jody Seal Thanks Jody, but I just need the liners. I can understand why you'd want to offer that as a set.
  13. I'd like to buy a extra pair of the thinner ones from last year. Do any of you ballers have a set you want to sell? e-mail clinkatcfl.rr.com
  14. @skibug & @Sully Sully's right - driving a cup car is like driving an ice cube on an oil slick. Go all the way back to the IROC series - Mostly Cup drivers won the championships.
  15. @mino: Wow that's deep. I think a permenent individual anchored course is always the best option but at 35+ feet deep it will be costly to install (dive gear, two way radio communication etc). I haven't had any expierence over 30 ft.
  16. I got the whole US Gear Set up about a month ago, Pro V 12" .940 and the Knotless main line. I really like it! I was a custom grip guy for the last 15+ years. This is much better. Elbows quit hurting, haven't missed a handle grab yet, dead on on the length, and my driver (wifey) really likes the knotless rope. Oh yea the handle does NOT propeller in the water on a return after a fall.
  17. @KM Yea those are the amounts I remember as well.
  18. @Mino OOPS! Wrote this yesterday but forgot to post. For me the simple answer is yes. Install it- get it tight and then use a 300' tape measure that rolls/winds up. Go down and measure the distance from the gate cross bar to first boat guide cross bar and so on. Just to make sure you didn't over tighten or it hasn't streached out for some reason. I always made sure the two center lines were dead on accurate then everything else is easy to get right.
  19. @mino & @OB - Yes I have done this 20 times. It works great. As OB said be very well prepared before you get on the water, draw it out and check the depth at each buoy drop point and be accurate about it. Then be sure to align it all up on a very calm (no wind) day.
  20. @ktm300 - That describes my expierence with the S2 to a T. I admit I rarely have a good stacked position.
  21. @ ShaneH - Yea at .780 I kept turning into slack on my on side (2&4) at 32 off. I just kept moving it back till it stopped.
  22. @ Ed Johnson: Just to be clear I'm a 28 and 32 off skier. I can drill a 28 anytime but have to be holding my mouth just right to run a 32. I know everyone is gonna think I'm crazy but I really thought the A2 was faster across course, more stable, and has a bigger "sweet spot". I'm not a pretty skier (RF forward) but I was really out of position all the time on the S2. I tried every binding & fin combo. The A2 ended up at factory recommended settings to the thousandth Except DFT .740. Stradas at 29.5.
  23. I thought they were quite a bit different. Even though I'm @34MPH I liked the A2 much better.
  24. @Ed Johnson - I was thinking that might help - That's on my list.
