  1. I put my wife's panel in the oven around 250 and kept checking it until it started to get soft. Once soft, I held the panel against her back and wrapped her and the panel tightly with an Ace bandage. She obviously had a sweatshirt on and says it's more comfortable formed.
  2. Just finished the last coat of clear! First car I've painted. They always say prep is 95% of the work, no shit! I could only guess how many hours of sanding I have into it already and now it's time for wet sanding and buffing. Happy with the results,xdps1lzv8qje.jpg

can't wait to get the car back together as it's getting to be roadster time here.

  3. @Bruce_Butterfield As a carpenter and woodworker.... level your pictures! After doing carpentry for over 40 years you develop a pretty sharp eye for plumb and level. Drives me crazy when I walk into someone's home and everything is out of whack. I've even straighten pictures at homes. I'm not really that anal, just one thing that bugs me. Seriously, plaque looks great there. Glad I was able to help out Horton with the awards!
  4. You haven't lived until you not only wrap the main cable of a portable course around the prop, but because it was a sinkable course it also had the air lines too! Adding to the pressure of untangling, it was 6:45 am and everyone had to get to work. A bit of blood and a few adjectives we got it, not a fun morning.
  5. Everyone keeps talking about how expensive skiing is, it doesn't have to be. You can buy a 80's direct drive all day around here for $3-5000 and show up at any public access lake and ski your ass off all day. Around my house you have a choice of a least 15 -20 lakes and some like ours even have a course. Go on ski-it-again and you can pick up equipment at a reasonable price. Hell, I ski on a private lake with only 4 other guys and it cost me less than $3000 a year. I guess if you have to ski behind a new boat and on a new ski it does get pretty expensive but there are alternatives.
