  2. yes that is correct, @Oscawanaskier asked for a picture of the motorbox cut out so I opened and took a picture, rope happened to be on the floor under motorbox

  4. @oscawanaSkier nice job I wired mine to the lights also!!
  5. @ Scotchipman the blower and I cut out the plastic on back of motor box under Malibu billet
  6. @rodecon it’s on page 2 of this thread installed a blower
  7. I fixed my problem for $50 bucks this is today with an outside air temp of 94, took me all of 20 mins to get my boat to be way better, power problems are fixed and boat skis and drives like a dream!! Jason Staab
  8. I installed a 3 inch blower, and ran a 3 inch hose up the stringer on the port side to draw in cool air and supply air to the engine. before i had this the engine would not perform do the the intake air being to hot and the engine would not produce the correct amount of power out of the hole or while pulling a skier. Once i had this completed, it dropped my intake air temps to around 130 based on the temperature out side, at the last tournament the outside temp was 96 and i was able to keep my intake temps at 132 while the boat was pulling skiers. I also cut out the plastic on the back of the motor box under the silver billet to help the heat escape. If anybody would like to see pictures for how i did please Message me and i will send them to you. The boat is clearly a whole different animal if the engine can breath!!! Jason Staab
  9. Miskier is correct, engine compartment is not getting enough air, take off motorbox and pull a skier and you will be amazed!! I had to add a blower moving air in the motorbox to get me 18 to perform correctly the boat is awesome once you get it to run properly Jason Staab

  14. yes the metal roofing from home depot would work, my roof has been on there since I put it on in 2004 the wind and storms we get in Kansas has never bothered it, I used sheet metal screws that have a rubber gasket to seal from water so the roof would not leak and I screwed the roof to the frame/cross pieces that the old canopy would rest on. the side curtains I used a sheet metal screw with some washers to hold tight against the frame. The roofing I used was a solid sheet no cutting required they will overlap a couple ribs, and the lengths I don't remember either 22 or 24 feet I can measure and let you know. I took my side curtains off got tired of messing with them when wiping and putting boat away. the side curtains I bought at upholstery shop cant remember the name of the material but I can find out as well it was really good material and will not tear or rip
  15. you can put a metal roof on the top of your lift for way less money, and than if you want you can add some side curtains from a local tarp shop I will send you a picture of what I did if you like let me know or call if you have questions 785-623-3750 jason
