So what car does he drive?
-
There's still no $ in pro wake boarding. I worked at the Louisville Boat Show this year and the MC dealership I was with had Shawn Murray and Shane Bonifay there. Shane kept talking bout how he lived in the Ghetto!

We have to have pros. It gives everyone else a sense of position in skiing. Without pros there wouldn't be colligete either. Attendance will go up at pro tournaments if we have more like this years Malibu open. Pros also help sell skis with their scores. Do you think there would be as much 9900's out if CP didn't get around 2 ball? If these skiers weren't pro, Smith's 39 legacy wouldn't even be known. Taking away a lot of credit to Nautique and D3
-
I don't see how these tournaments like BigDawg are hurtful in any way to pro skiing. The guys at tournaments like BigDawg are the guys who are above your class C competition but not at the pro level. This is good because it keeps them from dominating every class C and they aren't gonna be the ones getting last at all the pro stops. Does minor league undermine MLB? Does farmer league undermine NFL? No, it's a place for people to play who are good enough to make a living doing it but not good enough to go play for the giants....

Ok so I got some 2010 Strada bindings for Christmas. After a few problems I had to get a new pair and they gave me one 2010 and one of the brand new style. I called the owner of the dealership and she told me if i want I could just have 2 of the brand new ones at no charge. Anyone skied on both styles? Only differences I can tell (have no skied on either) is the sides seem stiffer and thicker linear.
-
@Cwillygood I have had RS-1's for 2 years and just bought a pair of 2012 stradas. Not one time have I questioned the RS-1. I have NEVER had them come out when I didnt think they should have and NEVER did they pre release
-
@dave2ball why would they release it then? If I have 45k for a MC and I can choose between the brand new one with zero off or a used one im probobly gonna buy the new one and the promo guys may have a harder time selling their boats.
-
I dont think that "economical" is in MC's vocabulary

There is WAY to much red tape in a sport that needs as little restrictons as we can have to keep the sport going! Cmon AWSA lighten up if you want us to survive!
-
Also you will get a positive response from Radar. They are hands down the best in customer service. Never had a complaint with them. One of my RS-1 bindings started peeling in the back (probobly from use) and Radar replaced it for free even though it was out of warrenty.

What case for the ski did you buy? Was it the sock or the case? If it is the sock, they are one size fits all. I had the same issue with mine. Next time you are skiing, dont dry your ski off for one set, and wet the sock and put the ski in it. It will stretch it out. Also if you do have the sock, put it on with sliding the tail in, and stretching the tip part. Much harder the other way around.

CP has his ski school. Supposed to be one of the best in the world
-
The one he recently got the MM record on, was a home made ski by one of his buddies. He didnt tell me if it had a brand name.
-
Its the shape of it that puts it above the Senete C. The Vice is nearly as fast as the Strada and because of its shape the turns are practically identical. I rode the Senete C and wasnt to impressed with it but I love the RS-1, Strada, Vice.
-
@Roger I have the RS-1 ski. I am trying to put Strada bindings on it without drilling more holes.
-
If the new style strada boots will install on a sequence plate, I will do that. The local dealership told me that I have to have 2 seperate plates with the strada boots. I am talking about the brand new strada style with the strap across the bottom part and the thicker linear.
-
Either Larkin or Rossi are the only 2 guys who can do anything in challanging conditions
-
My question is if I need to drill into the ski. The proshop said it dosnt fit the sequence plate.
-
Ok so I have been thinking about upgrading from the old style strada boots, too the new style strada boots. I have heard that I would have to drill extra holes (I have 2 holes drilled from previous owner for D3 bindings, holes are above the bottom holes). Is it true that I need to drill even more? Thought I would try here before spending $$$ on gas to go to dealership.

What you need to do (this has helped my dad more than anything else) is to get your hips to the handle. It can be difficult to literally force your hips to the handle so take your elbows and tuck them on your vest. Keep them there until you are ready to release the handle. The edge change will be easier, you will get wider, and it will take less energy.

The problem, this was mentioned earlier, is that a wakeboarder dosnt go out for 1 or 2 hours. They go out all day and on public lakes (for the most part). To get this kinda charge would require HUGE battaries. However this would just add weight which is ok because wakeboarders want more weight for the wakes.
-
Yup, when I was learning -28 at 58 I couldnt get past the 2 ball. I took it to 55 and ran it my first try.

@Than who can count how many times per month they get on? Over a hundred for me
Strada Boots
