  1. like @colo_skier mentioned it looks like you are skiing at 1 ball rather than making an edge change before it. when you are cutting for the gates look at the right hand gate ball and make your edge change a lot earlier to 1 ball. A good gate and 1 ball will set you up for a good run down the course.
  2. I am tired of relying on other people to get my fin set up, figure I should invest in my own caliper. Any suggestions on where to get one?
  3. Thanks, just called Wiley's. They are able to help me out.
  4. Anyone know of a toe plate that works for or has one for a KD7000? Having a hard time finding one. Barts said that a lot of the hole patterns changed in 2002 and that none of the new toe plates will work.
  5. Was on a 65.5 D3 Custom X5. Cracked on me this morning. Looking for another as soon as possible. Start collegiate tourneys in 2 weeks so desperately in need of a ski. If anyone has one they are willing to sell please let me know. I've been checking ski-it-again and haven't had much luck. Would love to get a new fusion but can't afford it, typical poor college student. Haha Thanks for the help!
  6. Before BOS changed up the page I was getting notifications when other people posted on my discussions or in a thread that I have posted in. Now I get nothing...not even messages from users. Anyone else having this problem or do I need to change some setting?
  7. @Shortenit - Huh, for some reason I didnt get it. I havent been getting very many notifications on my BOS profile.

  11. Need a medium front binding and an open rear toe plate. Only looking to spend about 50 or 60 dollars. let me know what you have, not considered about the year. as long as they are in operating condition and will fit the ski. HO, Connely, Wiley
  12. @Ryno - that would be awesome! i stayed on the Gold Coast when i was there. so much to see and do i wish i had more time when I was there
  13. @Ryno I was in Australia this past December visiting a friend I met at school. Greatly enjoyed my trip but and hope to one day return and have the possibility to ski in your country. Such a fun experience and cant wait till I can make it back. It sure is a neat country.
  14. if i can i would like to get a 7000. ski is for my girlfriend and shes has skied on a 7000 before and she is quite happy with it and everyone knows the key to a good relationship is keeping a happy girlfriend
  15. @skihart could you also post or send pics and give me a price?
  16. here is the boot i have
  17. @AB - you have an XL rear Animal Binding? post a pic and how much? @als2104. I have been needing a XL so if AB sells is XL rear I can sell you my L rear.
  18. Are the older OB's the same hull design as the CB ski nautique? example: http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?topic=Search&category=Comp_Boat&postid=19680 Hoping to get a boat next summer after I graduate and think I would like an open bow. We have a place on a public lake and although the boats main purpose will be to ski I will also use the boat to take our neighbor kids tubing and girlfriends sister wakeboarding. I am wondering if the hull design is the same so that way I can use it more than just to ski as i enjoy those activities and driving the boat. If not, I am not willing to sacrifice the wake of a CB SN and since I am buying and refuse to get anything other than a SN (and cant afford a new 200) the neighbors and others will have to deal with it. Also if anyone is planning on selling a boat next summer for no more than 15k let me know as I will be interested.
  19. @MattP - any update on the app?
  20. @Horton - thanks for mentioning about Brian. been skiing with him a few times the past couple weeks
  21. @epyscs - sounds good. I will try and get my gopro out this weekend and see if I cant get my girlfriend out of bed early enough that I could ski a little before the crazy people come out
  22. In a similar situation myself, however we don't even have a boat or access to a course. I'm 22 and have been trying to get my dad to split the cost of a boat with me for 2 years now or at least help out until I graduate then would pay him the rest so I don't go completely broke. Been skiing the course 4 years now. Currently have 1 semester left and doing what I can to ski when I can as I can try and make the ski team again this fall. It's hard to convince someone to pay for something when they don't have the same intentions for it as you might. Best solution I have found, find someone who has a boat and course and become their best friend. Already have made arrangements with a neighbor to purchase their boat after I graduate and have a steady income.... Oh, and if you do get a boat, don't be so quick and hung up on a MC
