Screen shot of a awesome sesh the other night, conditions were perfect

Definitely get rid of the Olympic dream, sorry guys....get some beer sponsors or something like red bull.
My opinion would be to do an event with others, almost like an X games thing, have a bunch of different "extreme" sports together and have waterskiing one of them. I think the Soaked idea was great with the concert and tournament in one! More of that stuff

vibes! i had an FM handle guard and it eventually feel off, all the zip ties broke but i felt very safe! i use ducktape now but hopefully i will get another fm guard with a new handle next season

conditions look rough ;)

i know Dave Robbins lives in southern maine ish area, he mostly trick skis but i believe there is a Slalom course on his lake..
-
went down for a collegiate tournament this spring, man that is a nice site! would have loved to ski there! congrats
-
What i think about is just keeping my legs really soft, it prevents me from standing on the tail

love watching those guys jump! good for Ryan for taking the win! I think Freddy still has alot more in him though~

Looks pretty good! I would say as far as slipping out you might be letting up at the base of the ramp. If you focus on just pulling through right to the top left corner i dont think you will have the problem. For going further i would say get wider on the boat on your 3/4 and then be more progressive in your cut to the ramp, if you get on it really hard out of the turn you wont gain speed, if you progressively cut harder and harder it will accelerate you into the bottom on the ramp! Hope this helps!

That was awesome! i assume you had some kind of remote control Helicopter to film that? so cool!

Great skiing @Skoot1123 looks like you have been making some serious progress!
I have skied less this summer i believe and have only gained a buoy! 4 @35 so far, but im getting down to 4 consistently, did it twice last night and once today! im so close to running it!
-
the live scoring really helped me feel like i was there, i was so bumbed i missed it
-
I think Mastercraft is doing a fantastic job marketing and hyping up this boat! Marcus's videos are awesome too
-
pretty bumbed on not making it this year..
-
haha even with the boat...impressive

if there is a drop off point in the east, i know my family has plenty of slalom skis, maybe even a pair of jump skis and probably some ropes/ handles that still have plenty of life left in them
-
haven't improved as much as in prior years, although i have been skiing less i believe, iv added a buoy, but i feel now that im at 35 it is harder to improve, although im still slightly disappointed, but i have improved a fair amount this year in trick and jump! so its all good

gnar points right there
-
somewhat convincing

@webbdawg99 i think either way there will be people complaining about something....haters

i think the 200's trick wake is awful, i really hope the MC has a good trick wake because i love tricking behind our '12 197. Personally i don't really notice that much of a difference when slaloming behind different boats. Yes i the 200 is pretty flat but i really dont feel anything different behind a MC, Malibu or Centurion

@JackQ very well said!
-
@rico i agree with you on that and i feel those are good points. But i also think some change would help the sport. I believe the big issue at the Eastern Regional meeting was that there are so few sites that have what it takes to hold such a tournament. It has gotten so complicated over the years and i think that is what is holding our sport back IMO
-
My advice would be to not drop down to 26, but maybe go 28 with a narrow split and just do some really easy progressive single wake cuts and just focus on pulling through the ramp and bringing your handle right into your waist. If you pull right through it should bring you right over your skis. Given you are on your toes and have good body position.
If you have a chance go on skifly.com and try to get Flight School. It is an awesome jumping video where Scott Ellis brings you through the ropes
BallOfSpray Centurion was a hit at Western Regionals. Now Orange Crush is going to Eastern Regionals
