when you talk to jamie he seems to talk about it alot...but jamie is also crazy
-
Kind of a cool shot from regionals
and being in the top 15 makes me pretty happy
and of course
-
i wish i was going....
-
i love my Radar Strada gloves or whatever they are called, they fit awesome, but they are falling apart...the masternline pro lock gloves are pretty rad too
-
how dare you say that about my buddy brooks
-
soooooo close! but very very very impressive skiing none the less
-
all i know is after skiing a course all my life, i can't freeski its soo weird to me
-
@jdarwin exactly! I think many guys take a break for a while after skiing as a kid or whatever and get back into it more towards mens 3 or 4, or at least thats what happens up here in NE, there is not many mens 1 or 2 skiers at all, and i think alot of people stop after boys 3 or girls 3
-
i think there is lots of tournament participation in awsa, but we need more in grassroots to grow the sport, i think theres a good amount of participation in New England like @Than_Bogan said but there isn't that many tournaments
-
dang, with a 200 too, your one lucky duck nothing broke
-
something isn't right there then ^... just like what @mshaw200 said, jumping doesn't have to be unsafe if your smart about it, i totally agree with that, obviously if you want to go far your going to crash at somepoint, i had my first good jump crash in like 4 years this year, because i took a cut over my ability haha (wanted to get that 120), its all about pushing it in moderation
-
id say no turn islands, i skied down at ultimate ski lake, and they didnt use them, if you were to do it for things like keeping rollers down id make them small
-
i was going to post this earlier! those guys are the best, brooks is one of the nicest guys i have ever met and great coach...they look like they have too much fun
-
@TonyLightfoot thats good to hear! a real trooper......and without your announcing i don't think any of these crashes would be the same!
-
ahh what a great video hahaha, i think its very appropriate for BOS
-
i didnt realize it was such a small zone
-
@Horton haha sorry, Tony's reactions to crashes are always...well..ill give you another example
-
not even a chance to tuck, absolutely brutal
tony lightfoot just posted it on facebook
-
i found my strada boots fit a little small, maybe a half size, but they are very comfy when they mold to your feet!
-
well if you are standing up and pulling with the same intensity through the whole gates all the way to 1 your going to have to pull longer and then you will have to much speed = slack in the turn...instead of being aggressive right behind the boat, get a nice early edge change, and ride the rope all the way out to the ball
-
idk what your coach was saying, you need to be fairly agressive right behind the boat, skiing the hips to the handle, and have a nice early edge change, but keeping the hands on the handle, that gets you too the bouy, staying patient and keeping you vision down course should lead to a good one ball, i try to ski my 32 just like my 28, its easy to over ski 32 iv found, by working too hard, pulling too long or not enough
-
i have never been there but i know @Chef23 and his family/friends have been to Coble Ski School a few times and they all rave about it when they get back! might be more than a 5 hour drive though
-
thats why i love to snow ski! i tried racing but hated it, the summer and waterskiing can be training, focus, practice and competition but snow skiing is just so free and you can flip spin slide whatever you want, i think thats why i love both waterski and snowski because there two total different aspects of my general picture of "skiing"
New tricker needs to know what to learn next
