  1. They have to be moved 5 feet outside the buoy line for Cole's first set back...
  2. The most obvious similarity is that you go where you are looking.
  3. I think having a slightly longer rope (between 2 sections). For me (I am heavy at 210lbs wish) slowing the boat makes it harder to swing out and glide... The problem with pulling the buoys in is that we are so formatted to the regular side that we still turn where the normal buoy should be instead of adjusting to the new location...
  4. Ah I know the technique but haven’t mastered it yet. I love my hood but I know others who tried it struggle having their ears covered.
  5. but the hood prevents that horrible spray in your neck when you drop at the end of the lake.
  6. What about the fact that I might have you paint my house for Scotch and increase my buoy count in the process while yours decreases... Genius!
  7. I second ski paradise FL where I would rather body drag to the dock but fun tournament and great people. Canyon Lake,CA is an interesting one where you can’t walk back and have to swim to the closest floating judging tower, until the whole group for that round is done and the pickup boat comes and get you. Again great tournament where the pickup boat gets really full sometimes
  8. If anyone is ever near Bako and want to ski on an awesome lake behind a beautiful Prostar,... @Horton is right there. If you do have Scotch Whiskey with you, come to my house first. Seriously, amazed that I could make it happen and looking forward to spending more time at the lake!
  9. Very sad. Thoughts for his family and friends. This will leave a huge void in the ski community.
  10. Next ride Saturday. We have a new boat and a new lake to try, so we can try new settings too. Having said that I am only willing to try settings that are better. @Horton can try the more experimental ones
  11. @Than_Bogan i did not ski for 3 weeks and at about 55 Air and 55 Water, the ski is still so stable and forgiving but there if you push it.
  12. I think this is also a symptom of people skiing at the same lake behind the same boat with the same driver all the time. Going to another site will feel foreign and the skier will most likely do crazy things they don't normally do. As a side note, have you noticed how skiing on man made lake like we have in Bako (perfect rectangle) and going to a public open lake screws up your gate pull out and make you super narrow?
  13. Just watched it. Another great episode indeed. And that boat will always be the one that got away...
  14. The engine for that price is a 6.2 indmar. The boat will likely pull the French Nationals in 2020 so we should have footage. While the boat is new, it is manufactured by an experience company in my home town, La Rochelle France: https://www.rhea-marine.fr/en @Horton you are not allowed to make jokes on the next French nationals.
  15. I can confirm the C-75 still works in the winter
  16. EP Stiletto, @Horton was testing one not so long ago.... ?
  17. @rawly thanks looks like 4" will be best for me, then again it will only be used between the boat ramp and lot #17
  18. @BrennanKMN I can assure you that if the wheel is not already turned the right way in anticipation for the skier’s pull, the boat is going to move, no matter how fast a system responds @liquid d i agree. I enjoy driving and being in sync with the skier.
  19. I don't see why you couldn't get a system that anticipate as well as react to the input form the skier.
