  1. @than Thank you for a great article. I got my first crack at 36mph yesterday concentrating on some of the things from your article. I feel like keeping my arms straight made a drastic improvement from the very get go. Like others have said, thank you for taking the time for us 15' offers and putting together something that is very well written and easy to understand.
  2. I'm Brad Stephenson, 26 years old and just started skiing the course last year. I try and get out as much as possible and have felt improvements every time I go out. My PB thus far is only 1 at 34mph but hope to better that by the end of the year. This site as already allowed me to meet and ski with three other ballers, for that I thank you John!
  3. I have an '89 nautique that was equipped with wakeboard pro when I bought it. I am trying to figure out what I need to do in order to get the ability to keep times thru the course. If I understand correctly, I believe that I can simply pick up a Perfect Pass Classic master module and the magnet attachment and swap it for the module in my boat already. I am not really looking to get into gps control or anything, would just like to have the boat run a bit more accurate.
  4. Enjoyed a great day at the lake with the family and was able to grab a couple of pictures. My daughter is now talking about trying the combos, and the boy I think would anything behind the boat.
  5. Thanks to this site I got the chance to meet and ski with a fellow "baller" today. Sully, Thank you for allowing a noob in progress to join you today. Mint Lake is a very beautiful setting and I suggestion is that anybody who gets a chance to should make the trip out there. It is people like Sully that make me love our sport and skiing community. Thanks again and I hope that I get a chance to ski with you in the future.
  6. Trying to understand where this ski fits in at. I understand the differences between it the strada and the senate c. I just don't understand how it is put above the senate c. I would think that the senate c being 100% carbon, though wider, would still put it just below the strada. And then you would see the vice followed by the senate. Does the vice having a cnc foam core really make it a cut above the senate c? Do these slight differences reflect why it is hard to find info on the vice and why you don't seem to hear about to many people skiing the vice?
  7. Thinking of getting rid of the Nautique and "upgrading" into a DLX. Mostly for the room and storage, the DLX will also still fit in my garage. But I am curious if I will gain anything in the wake? I know the 2001's aren't great ski boats, but how is the DLX? From my understanding the sanger is a more renowned barefoot boat.
  8. My first full pass was this summer! I had been pulled thru the course about five years ago behind an I/O just messing around, but other than that I had never "tried" the course. I got invited to a private lake and showed up before anybody I knew was there. The owners were very kind and got me thru the course (15' off @ 28mph) on my 5th and 6th pass. I have been absolutely hooked since and have been trying to practice and learn as much as possible.

  10. Salem, Oregon. Sorry, I think I might have been a little to excited with the thought that I actually might have a shot at meeting people that enjoy skiing and being on the water as much as I do. The sarcasm is greatly appreciated. It is nice to know that there are still some of us with a sense of humor and not wound to tight.
