  1. If you have ever looked at the hydro gate on a 200 SN you would be surprised at how little change is needed to make the slalom wake amazing. The amount of surface area on aluminum plate that drops down is surprisingly small. When you are driving and drop the gate the effect is pretty pronounced. I don’t think you would need a huge wake plate to make a significant difference to the wake at speed.
  2. I am sure his eyes were closed half the time. Even more impressive.
  3. Amazing! Was that hand bombed or was there some sort of speed control?
  4. @skibrain that’s definitely lean lock. Yikes.
  5. My new and the last three handles from US gear. My kids and neighbors fight over who gets to use the old ones. These handles have taken me through at least seven seasons of skiing. They are awesome.
  6. I have one.....in Canada.
  7. Matt Rini did that for Paige years ago and many people have done the same. Works great but I think you cut too much off. I think he did 59. Rounded the back sanded and cut in a new slot for the fin. Then had to drill for the Wiley bindings.
  8. @scoke can you elaborate on this a bit more. I can’t wrap my head around it but I think it’s a key element. Especially for me at 35. “It's your gate. You took 1.25 meters off the rope: Are you moving in 1.25 meters earlier? Are you swinging the ski (slowing down) into 1, 1.25 meters earlier? If the answer is no to either, then you are going too fast at 1 ball therefore barely turning the ball then can fight to 3 ball. “
  9. Hey @Than_Bogan what ski are you on? You seem quite excited about this. Are you riding one?
  10. Congrats Jamie! Such a great young talent. I see some pro podiums coming her way very soon.
  11. Maybe the whole thing got a scrapped? I thought I heard rumours of a potential collaboration with an industry leader but maybe that went by the wayside?
  12. Thanks or the input guys. I will start with the plus setting first round.
  13. I guess by softer I mean less harsh at pickup. B2 rev Q feels more progressive than the newer single puck boats on B2 to me. Tried a set on a friends new 5.7 MC today and used the plus setting. Seemed better than when I skied other MCs with just B2. Unfortunately only got one set in and couldn’t compare it to B2 no plus or other settings. Honestly I just don’t get enough ski time to try all these combos. I have a tournament this weekend and may go with the plus although I still don’t understand how it could be a softer pull as it was designed for heavier people.
  14. Okay i am still confused here. I have rev Q still on my 200. I run B2. I find that when skiing the new MC with the latest version that b2 feels more firm and can pull me up on my onside relatively often. Looking for a softer pull. Don’t get to ski the new boats often unless in a tournament. Will plus setting give me a softer pull? I am 175lbs skiing 22-35 off. Should I move letters? Thanks
  15. Where do you use the boat? If you use it for cruising with the family and enjoying the lake as well as free skiing then the 200 is a no brainer. The open bow on a 200 will win every time hands down. If you are on a private lake and only use the boat to ski maybe consider a new Ski Nautique. I will personally never own a new Ski Nautique because of the closed bow but I use my boat about 50/50 family lake time and course skiing. Happy shopping!
  16. Amazing webcast. The quality is awesome and the views are fantastic.
  17. If I spent that kind of money I would want a new one.
  18. Whats the newest version of ZO you can get without upgrading to singe puck?
  19. @mbabiash Hey Matt, nice looking ride! Great colors. Can you post a pics of the new dash and screen?
