Actually as of now the Southern Region has 58 (37 in FL ) and last year we had 98. It is a little early but traditionally when we had a printed Regional Guide most of the tournaments would already be scheduled to make the guide book. Pop up tournaments makes it hard to schedule Promo Boats.
@Mzimmer75 . The fix is move the platform forward or go to Lowe’s and get a piece of weatherstripping and attach it to the platform between the hull brackets.
I know that when it counted ( States, Regionals, Nationals) more qualified Master Men skied their age division then MM. Excuse I hear, I’ve never won my age division and I don’t have a chance in MM.
So if you won or placed in a ability based event like States, Regionals or Nationals wouldn’t you be required to move up?
And yes I witnessed sandbagging years ago from skiers not wanting to move out of the novice division.
Isn’t this kind of the same as Master Men, or Master Women?
We never had a back up for end course!!!!!
So why for Sure Path?
I’ve seen end course video quality in R tournaments that was pathetic. I don’t believe I’ve been at a tournament that the event was stopped to measure or review the end course video for tolerance. That’s been done days after the event.
@Clydesdale what year Nautique is that? Only the Nautique Club 200 and the new Ski Nautique have the auto Hydro Gate. Don’t you have a lever near the throttle to move the Hydro Gate? If you’re moving the lever and nothing is moving something is broke.
So if that’s the case why was gas so cheap 2, 3 and almost 4 years ago when the economy was roaring before the China virus? Also, here in Florida the building business is booming and has been for over 3 years. There are help wanted signs posted everywhere but we all know why that is.
I think you will find that right foot forward and right palm down is somewhat the norm. The opposite you would hold a baseball bat for a right handed batter. Funny thing, every time I go to show someone some sort of dry land practice I always hold the handle wrong. I made the switch 21 years ago.
Your biggest hurdle will be the head factor. I've blown my rotator cuff and another time a ruptured Achilles. Getting the injury out of your head could take a year. This is the time to focus on form and not buoys.
The lakes were dug to build the turnpike. Boz was heavily involved. I believe the way the story goes the plan was to dig the lakes for the dirt but no guarantee that anyone would ever get to ski on them.
