All skiers bar one pass seem to manage just fine with it, and even then the skier after managed to negate it just fine. Iv skied plenty of places where the shore is well within running up if I pulled long to get a half., doesn’t mean that it should be skied. It was same for all skiers and we had one of the best tournaments ever. Stop moaning and enjoy the amazing spectator position we are now in with TWBC.

Funny I was only just looking at that myself.

Seems to be the new malibu Vtx is the only crossover boat now. The nxt20 although the same size as the prostar isn’t really a skiable boat for slalom. I’m in the opinion that a true crossover is impossible. You can get a ok wake boat that can’t ski or an ok ski boat that can’t surf / wake well.

@Horton if the call was made off that footage then It’s a BS call and we can all understand his frustration. In fact I would be blowing up 100x worse if it was me, and just shows how laughable our little sport is.

Regarding the webcast. We have been spoiled with TWBC. Anything less is not acceptable. The masters is meant to be a prestigious event. It’s lost it for me, and I’m certainly disappointed. I’m with Bob Marley, rename the Nautique pro haha but for sure I will not be watching the final. It’s a tainted event that I will not be giving my view to.

In my experience 140 is fine to run on. But if it's a bad thermostat it may get worse. If it's a small piece stuck then it may well clear itself. Try do some quick runs to get some pressure and temp up.

Thermostat issue.

Either a bad thermostat, as I think they fail open. Or sometimes a bit of corrosion or sediment build up can get stuck in the stat and causes it to stay open slightly, leading to low temps. For the cost, I would just swap it out for a new one.

Plus one with @ballsohard. Stock with boots back an 1/8th and your on the money. Best ski I have ever ridden. Have an R2 on the way but you will have to pry the ION out of my hands.

Bumping an old thread. Anyone had a better solution for longer range gate cameras/ recording and review set up. I'm still rocking with analogue cctv cameras into a DVR. I feel there is a way better system to be made.

Has anyone managed to fit a closed cooling system to the 6L? Not a factory option which is a bummer for us, wonder if anyone has managed to fit one post delivery.

I'm on the 67" ION. Stock fin and boots 1/8th back from stock. Ski is awesome, and literally run passes I have no business running. I had a quick set on an S with the same settings. I ran pretty close to the same score but the feel wasn't the same for me. Just a touch less support in my opinion. If I was way lighter it would work well.

@david_quail what's the lake setup. Big lake? Shore access, or have you banks close by to the course? You say permanent but does it need the option to be moved or sunk at some point?

@Stevie Boy I'm more than aware of the hardship of this. I run a club and a centre as well as a pro shop. Iv had zero help and want to take people out as much as you want to get out. If you want your club to survive, the competitions to survive then your answer to is 12 weeks long enough is a resounding hell ye. A thought spared to the owners and guys that spend a ton of time making the sites great for skiers. I spent so much time this winter getting ready for our comps only for them to be cancelled. We are all annoyed, and mentally exhausted. I can't wait to be able to call my members and friends to come to the lake, and you can be sure I will be there dawn till dusk making the most of what's left of the year. Stick together it's not far away from being alright.

@Stevie Boy Get out on the water support the clubs and shops how you can. This is a rough ride for all of us. Go ski your butt off when you can and make it up.

Until examples are made, forgetting this ever happened will lead to it happening again. This should remain in the public knowledge and never buried. Maybe it can make someone second guess what they are doing in the future and protect the possible victims. Redemption is correct and should be available, however I have yet to see any redeeming acts at all.

@ForrestGump So do regular non autopilot cars, as well as non auto steer boats running into stuff. People are stupid, computers aren't perfect but at least you can adapt and improve a computer, unlike a lot of people I know.
