  1. The one busy day at the lake. After skier finishes skiing and is back on the dock the next family in rotation takes 5 minutes or so talking their friend into trying to ski. Then god knows how long to find them a vest skis etc..,
  2. The tank is to level the boat it’s #150. Look under the bow on the left side you should see the tank itself the pump if my memory serves is under the center seat. You should be able to visualize the hoses to see what goes where. I have a 17 it only has one battery yours is probably the same. The boat is designed to pull right it’s much easier to steer with the preload. I think the difference between practice and tournament is speed adjustment. In tournament you get 2 mph increments. In practice it can be adjusted by tenths of a mile an hour.

    Great boat! Enjoy!

  3. Requiring Safe Sport training is not a good idea, it will not help the sport. It appears there was no research done to see how other NGB's are handling this, clearly there has been minimal to no input from membership. Some suggestions I would make are: Offer a discount on membership or increase the rate for those of us who do not want to take the course. At a worst case it should be implemented in phases. Maybe set up a target percent increase each year. If that doesn't work first force the judges and safety to take it and maybe single out other groups. The world is changing quickly, phasing in this mandate would also allow us time to see how this shakes out and follow suit of what others are doing.
  4. Check if it’s getting fuel when it doesn’t start. You can pull or loosen fuel lines and see if or how much comes out and where the blockage is. If you haven’t replaced the filters mentioned you should.

I had a friend that replaced his fuel pump with an aftermarket one. His fuel line ended up just long enough to reach or so he thought. It pinched where it went under the fuel tank and restricted the flow. It ran fine but not with a load. Good luck.

  5. Reading the last few comments it appears we’re not even sure where this mandate comes from? Education is usually the first step to understanding. That being said this better safe than sorry attitude is dangerous. Let’s make the next poll about who is wearing a helmet while writing this. After all if helps one person it’s worth it...
  6. Sure Path looks like a really good system, is improving all the time and a good addition to tournaments. It seems to me trying it out for a year will allow judges and drivers to get used to it. Whether it shows red or green at the end of a pass if the boat crew determines it’s warranted there should be a reride given.
