  1. I have a 17 mastercraft you can tow with the cover. I don’t. The cover does not go down very far so may help with the glass but not the hull. The master craft shipping covers are thick and would cover most of the boat. Not sure about southern cal dealers but not cal master craft probably has one. Might be on the way.
  2. Years ago I had a skier (wearing a coast guard approved proper fitting vest) experience a seizure. He rolled over and went face down till I got to him and pulled him out. If you feel your vest or your friends malfunctioned you might want to contact the manufacturer. There’s inherent risk in anything you have to weigh pros and cons and accept your own risk.
  3. Earlier in this thread it was stated “participation drives membership “ I fully agree with that. A large portion is access. In Berkeley @matteovargas started "ski league" every Wednesday night. That has brought in quite a few new skiers. if you are ever in Berkeley on a Wednesday night in the summer check it out. You get 6 passes and dinner. You score off the dock then finish your 6 passes. Prize money each night and overall winners for the year.

  4. @skimtb thats what I thought too. It would make a lot of sense to just put a sack in the center floor. It is funny though in a nautique you can have any setting you want with the hydro gate and up to 500 lbs in a fat sack. Why not in a mastercraft
  5. Glad u brought this up. I have a 17 prostar. There is a specific mastercraft kit that has sacks in the rear lockers and under the bilge area u talked about Usa waterski does not allow anything except that complete brand name system. I have never actually seen one at any tournaments. The only one I’ve heard of was given to a promo person for either nationals or regionals. A single sack of a specified gallonage would be a simple solution.
