Action Water Sports to host Sunshine State Games on June 11th.
This family-friendly slalom tournament is open to competitors of all ages and ability levels.
POLK CITY, Fla., May 20, 2022 - Action Water Sports is excited to partner with the Florida Sports Foundation to host the water skiing portion of the 2022 Sunshine State Games Presented by Amazon. This event will consist of a Class C and Grassroots slalom competition for skier of all ages and ability levels.
The event will take place Saturday, June 11th at Action Water Sports, 1251 Holy Cow Road located off I-4 in Polk City, FL. The tournament entry fee is $50 and includes two rounds of slalom competition, lunch, and a t-shirt. A third round will be offered for an additional $10, time and weather permitting.
“The entire Action Water Sports team is passionate about water sports and the lifelong memories created by spending time on the water,” said Action Water Sports Tournament Director Andre Broussard. “We love hosting Class C tournaments as they allow us to give back to the sport we love.”
The event will be pulled by the record-setting MasterCraft ProStar, which was completely redesigned for the 2021 model year. The latest iteration includes advanced technology which allows for thoughtfully integrated features that cater not just to the skier behind the boat, but to the driver and crew as well.
