    I release my boot from the ski, then take the boot and liner off on the boat or at the dock.

    @harrison‌ @slow‌ It's all about wetted hull surface. The Prostar and Nautique 200 need a lot more power than a 196 to go the same speed.

    When you design a hull with so much wetted surface area, you're going to run into problems with power. Take a look at the Nautique 200. Even with a 6 liter engine it struggles pulling 200+ feet jumpers with AWSA props.

    I have an open bow. Absolutely HATE it! It's just more vinyl to keep clean and tends to scoop up water. IMO a closed bow looks better anyways.

    Long story, the private lake that the boat will be used on now has a 200 hp limit rendering ski boats illegal. However there is a 91 blue and pink 190 that is grandfathered in. The owner of the boat uses it somewhere else 90% of the time. By putting his stickers on this boat it will basically be an "evil twin"

    Slot is not necessary, but blue and pink is.

    Perfect Pass would be nice, but I can add that. Must be blue with pink and no tower. 94 with a slot is preferable.

    @skier16 In 1994 EFI was standard for MasterCraft.

    @ShaneH True, but because of the way the 197 sat low in the water, if weighted correctly it would be decent for beginner wake boarding. The new design sits higher and will not be a good boat for wake boarding. I think we will see fewer towers put on these bad boys.
