  1. @MS and @6balls you guys rock. Looks like I'll be taking @MS up on his offer! I pm'd you my info. Now having to work this weekend will suck a lot less! Look forward to MSP. @MZito I am on the west side. Gotta vote for New Holland Brewery but Larry Bell does make some good stuff.
  2. Hello, Just found out that I'll be in Minneapolis this weekend. Get to MSP noonish on Saturday and leave Sunday afternoon. Anyone willing to hook me up with a set would be much appreciated.. I can bribe with gas money or Michigan microbrews or both... I am not afraid of cold. Thanks.
  3. The light under the seat has Perko A16 on the top and on the bottom calls for a 338 2 bulb.good luck and hope this helps.
  4. Perko 1047P00DP 2-Pin Plug-In Marine Light Base with Slide Base. Just bought this from Amazon. $30+. I will look at light under seat if we ski in the morning to get that number but you should be able to use the base product number and work backwards... This was a direct replacement for a 98 Sportster. Good luck.
  5. @Wish - yup. I switched from RFF to LFF a couple of years ago because of an odd injury. I should have just bought one of those bikes...
  6. @OB count me in for $20. Enjoy the skiing and the time away from ATL. Look forward to your words.
  7. @DaveD‌ make that going up north on the 3rd then will be back on the 6th. I will be around most of the summer...
  8. @DaveD I am about thirty minutes south of GR with a few options that might work. PM me your number- I will be available through the 3rd then up north with no electronics.

    Sad Day

I can empathize. Still have the Dyne but just got rid of a 75 O'Day sailboat that I am hoping stays intact.
  10. @Horton , you are correct. Nigel does ski at 11. He skied it on a "Mach piece" [1]. In-between Bach and Mozart...
  11. I am pretty confident that if Nigel Tufnel skied he would vote for 43. "Well, it's one louder, isn't it?".
  12. @scotchipman , likewise. Thanks for the time on a new lake and thanks to your club for allowing me to jump in the rotation. Got into Austin, TX late last night and skied a set this morning with a couple of old friends and then made it home mid afternoon. Good thing it is windy here in MI because my ski partner is itching to get out on the water. It is a good soreness...
  13. @scotchipman , I found your course today but missed hooking up with Keith Morgan while he was out there. Beautiful spot. If you or any of your club members have room tomorrow I would love to ski that course. Thanks for your help. 269 615 1580
  14. @scotchipman , appreciate the help. My apologies on the misspell.
  15. @scottchipman , not my plane but have some say into where to land. Shooting for Provo but will most likely be SLC. Thanks for the directions. Anyone ski on Sunday?
  16. You guys rock. @scottchipman , I spoke with Keith Morgan. Thanks. @Brady I will pm you some contact info. My schedule is a little crazy on Saturday but should be in SLC early afternoon. Trying to land at Provo but most likely will have to drive from SLC. Thanks again.
  17. It is now looking like I will get into SLC Saturday early afternoon and leave Sunday late afternoon. I will gladly ski behind anything. Appreciate the help.
  18. SLC Ballers- will be in your area this weekend on a layover and trying to find someone gracious enough to give me a pull or point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance
  19. Yes. I switched from RFF to LFF almost 2 years ago. Chose to make the switch after nasty LF break in order to continue skiing. Best and worst decision ever made. Best because it allowed me to continue in the sport and worst if you are unfortunately anything like me you'll regress to the basics of day 1 and still reinvent ways to do things backwards or forwards, or think that you remember how with the wrong foot forward and confuse your left with your right... Life is short, but like @MattP said, film it.
  20. I was able to pick up a new Sportube 3 last spring for a ridiculous cheap price. Lucked into a chain sporting goods store in the south and they had a dust covered 3 on clearance along with the snow ski gear. Manager had no idea what he had but gave me an extra chunk off to get the dirty four pair snow ski carrier off his hands in June. He got me good. So good that I was tempted to buy a set of his combos for my kids and stuff them into my new water ski carrier just to see his reaction. Proof that goods deals can be in unlikely places.
  21. @Pat M are you telling me that there will be no 2nd Annual or do you want to try Michigan?
  22. @jfw432 - @Steven Haines has the idea. I have found that even a garden hose put on the lake bottom will push sediment to deeper water. I am just impatient. I stick twenty feet of PVC out in the lake for the intake. I wrap the intake end in panty hose and zip tie. Seems to filter everything just fine.
  23. @skihart Waterski magazine June 2011. "Dreamsets 28 days in South Africa". If you don't have it send me an email address and I can scan it and send it.
