  1. Relax arms, yes, but to the hips, and not the waist. Look up course from the buoy, ski through the imaginary fence, try to keep the handle, proud, as long as possible, allow edge change, then reach, turn takes care of it's self, try to back side the ball, handle relaxed and to the hips, and repeat. Easier said than done.
  2. @ALPJr, sounds like you are doing some great demoing. You are a pretty high level skier, will you be skiing some sets on the tx sl, and at some different speeds, so you can compare it to the cx sl? It would be great if you do. I really like my cx sl; still getting used to the slightly different feeling, compared to my 2014 tx Sl. Weight?, 67", or 69"? Please post back regarding what you think, and how it goes. Thanks.
  3. @Hallpass, given your speed, performance, and surface area needs, you may want the 71" tx, which will take you into 34 mph ( especially free skiing), or the 71" senate, that I think has an even higher performance ceiling. The 69" tx superlight might have enough surface area for you, but you should demo them, if possible to make sure. Good luck.
  4. @dnadrifter, we bought several triumphs over the years, and they served us well. I also started skiing again with a big daddy, then a 71" triumph, when I was heavier. I have a (approx) 2009 or 2010 71" triumph with an upgraded sindicate fin block, in excellent condition. $75. Not sure where you live, the postage might be kind of high. Good luck.
  5. @Than_Bogan, I'm sure you will be in good form in no time. I will try to transport some h2o warmth up your way when I do the 3 day a/m clinic-experience this coming weekend that the mrs. got for me. Can't wait. Hope your dock repairs went well. Good luck.
  6. @OB, it looks like paradise. Are you one of the guest coaches? If not, I'll bet you'r doing your share of coaching anyway. Make sure you sign up for the the tower crane bungee jump in town. They will calibrate the length of your fall, to dunk you in the pool if you want. They have pretty accurate weight scales. Have fun.
