More specifically I have collected every issue of the following magazines... Spray from June 1981 until the merge with Waterski. World Waterskiing from June 1982 until the merge with Waterski. The Water Skier (AWSA / USA Waterski) since July/August 1984 through 2014. Waterski from merge through 2014. And as a bonus Midwest, then Southern Regional Guides, since about 1993. It is time for them to go. To you? Or, the trash? If to you... you pay for shipping (or pickup in the Charlotte, NC area), and how about $50 to make me feel that it was all worthwhile? Received my Trace two weeks ago. URL's provided to learn Trace operation; Web site worked; but now the URL's no longer work. iPhone app not available yet. iPhone TestFlight app provided; but the Trace app beta not received yet. So, trending towards disappointing. However, the Trace staff is responsive. Seems they are just having problems getting everything started.

It is time for a new Reflex front slalom boot. Which should I get - classic or white cuff? So, white cuff users... do you tighten the buckle on the cuff (very) tight, to engage the strap when needed? That is, when using my classic boot I leave the cuff buckle loose which leaves me plenty of movement (front and back) with just a little of hinge movement of the cuff.

So, I've been demoing a 67" Vapor. And I want to ask a question that is too simple... when in the end at is combination of attributes that really makes a ski. So, play along anyway. Based on your experience, how fast is the Vapor? (Just plain speed, not considering all the other attributes.) I'll start. Fastest first. Helix Razor Vapor Next....

First, this thread is very helpful. Just started my Helix demo today. Since I haven't used a wing for six or seven years... which way are you all using your wing? Screws closest / wing furthest from the bottom ski? OR Screws furthest / wing closest to the bottom of the ski? Anyway, the ski is really fast. Couple of times I thought I was going to be on the other shoreline before I changed edges. : ) For my 66”, I think I set the fin. 6.945 2.478 .758 7 degrees 291/4” I say think because I'm not a fin adjustor… and I get a different reading every time I check. Anyway, my only issue is a few of my off-side turns the ski just about stopped on hook-up and crunched me on the ski. I suppose this more user error than set up.

Thanks everyone. And for the contact info. We both work remotely... so we can live anywhere. Dallas has the first two requirements - ski options and a hub airport. Then add in other things we like and Dallas has those too.

Thanks for the help guys. So far my homework tells me that Dallas is a windy area. Triple J is new to me. How's the windy protection there? Thanks for the Granbury, real estate connection. But we have decided Granbury is not for us. Dave, any real estate agent connection at Princeton Lakes? And those two houses for sale off the lakes... what the lakes rights for them?

Thinking about relocating to the Dallas area. Contacted 6 real estate agents, no response. So, how about an agent contact that understands the private ski lake market? Thanks!
