@ozski I am running the software version that Z Box first came out with. @GregHind Thanks for your thoughts. I checked the Servo Motor last summer and it operated smoothly. Is the return spring something that goes on the servo motor? (sorry not mechanically inclined but can tell my mechanic) We are putting in a new battery this spring. I believe from memory that we had 13 volts on the Perfect Pass display. If I am running the first version of Z Box it sounds like I need to update to the new version? Does this address some of the kinks? I have an EFI engine. What do you mean by secondaries kicking in?

When setting up my Perfect Pass Z-Box system over the past summer I have been having trouble dialing in the tolerances. After changing the background settings I will get +/- .01 to +/- .02 for one pass. Just as a think I have it dialed in I will run the next pass and I will get some segments that have +/- .03 or +/- .05. Is there something wrong with my setup or would this be due to driver error and not enough throttle or something? How many passes does one usually make with times in the +/- .01 to +/- .02 before not looking at the background settings anymore? What is a tolerable +/- ball segment time that people are happy with? The ending course times are always within tolerance, but ball segments remain inconsistent. I want to get to a point where I can just ski and not worry about having to change background settings anymore.

Has anyone converted an Indmar Monsoon for Zero Off? I have a 2005 LXi and would like to convert to Zero Off if possible. What costs and parts were involved? The price of new boats keeps going up and I really like my '05. Thanks!

Thanks All! I figured this would be just fine. The proshop I was dealing with tried to talk me out of it and I wanted to get more input. Should have trusted my gut!

Anyone running this setup? Is this binding too stiff for this setup? I run double stradas and like the release from them. I want to put this setup on another ski for another person and they a comfortable with a RTP. I think the release would work with a rtp but wanted to see if anyone had first hand knowledge.

@jody_seal can a 2005 indmar monsoon be converted for ZO? what price can you expect for this conversion?

@Ed Obermeier, what kind of information do you have for dialing in StarGazer? Is that with Zbox? I have been having trouble getting the system dialed in and could use some help, specifically with surging. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

In an effort to get more people and new skiers involved in waterskiing, I came up with a tournament on our lake that creates a friendly atmosphere while allowing any ability level to win. It is a standard one round ski against yourself tournament. Everyone is placed in the same division and you ski against your personal best. The person that does the best in comparison to their personal best wins. After skiing for the first time this year in tournaments, it got me thinking about how to create another tournament or tweak this one that could give more variety and gain more interest. Does anyone have any suggestions for a tournament that that would be a fresh idea? What are people's favorite tournament formats to enter? If you could explain the format briefly that would be helpful as well, since I am new to tournament skiing.
