Definitely go with the four blade. I had a ‘95 and even my wife noticed how much smoother the boat ran when we put the four blade on it. I don’t recall if I ever used an OJ prop to give you that model number, but the ACME 422 was great.

Rob Hazelwood did some video updates that ran through the run offs. Check either HO Skis or his feed on Instagram to see them. He runs through how Adam is in and Charlie was close, but did not make it.

@Horton, sure, but he was the first to use the phrase with me. Likely because the other highly respected coaches saw so much other junk in my skiing that needed to be fixed first.
-
@Horton certainly wants to move away from soft knees, but for those that went down that rabbit trail, Freddy used that to help me with my offside turn, not the wake crossing or transition, and it helped me stay more balanced fore/aft, so better aligned for the crossing.

We would if we were not bound to the school schedule. The trip looks awesome, and why waste vacation time by not skiing on vacation. Give me several years and when the kids are gone, we will be there.

There is a 2017 at our lake that had weird issues as well that could be described as ghost touches. Speeds would change without anyone touching the buttons. 70 mph was actually on the screen. It was a MC screen issue, not the ZO. I don’t recall if it was a new screen or a software update.

@Horton what is the story behind each of the human names for the boats? I seem to recall you soliciting suggestions in the past.

Recurring nightmare, I’m at a lake with no way to ski. Could be bad conditions on vacation and the boat never goes in the water, no boat available, etc. Horrifying.

This might be the stuff that reflex uses. It popped up at the bottom of the Home Depot link from @Gloersen

Excited to see the next generation. The C85 set a very high bar for the Denali c-buoyslayer9000^2

Does anyone know if the 6.0 will fit under the engine box of a 5.7 SN200 from this era (2012)?

What @Than_Bogan said.

I did a DB ski as an anniversary gift. She was excited about it.

@Than_Bogan I have found that many observers are better at shapes and colors than numbers, but when I forget that and use the number when I ask for the rope to be shortened, the sleeve can help avoid confusion.

I got talked in to the Camaro, glad I bought it, it is very warm. Just use your whole hand to adjust it vs fingertips as they indicate on their website. Perfski has them and got it to me quickly.

@ScarletArrow i have a 2012 200 CB. I have a 50 pound lead wake bag near the bow and use two 50s under the observer seat and a 35lb that we move near our feet depending on who is in the boat. The only time 150 total would really help is when I have no observer and my ski partner who is near 250 is driving solo, but the 135 seems to be enough. All are lead wake.

@mbabiash don’t most of the camera mounts go on like a trick release? Which one are you using?

That pylon design is a a less than ideal way to save on rope wear.
SN 200 Tiller Arm Connection
in Boat Talk
Posted
As slower slalom speeds, 24/26, my Ski Nautique 200 seems to have a slight dead zone in the steering. At higher speed, 32/34/36, the steering feels better. The rudder tab is well off to the right and locked in with new lock washers, it’s not moving, and provides good pressure. The steering cable is new last year, feels smooth, and does not feel dead at idle. The rudder feels solid.
I took a picture of the tiller arm connection and there appears to be a slight gap. Does it appear that the connection of the tiller arm to the steering cable needs to be tightened a bit?
The gap where I drew the arrow seems to be something that could cause what I’m feeling at certain speeds. My guess is that at higher speeds the greater pressures remove the dead zone feel.
