  1. Not the North by some standards. We skiied Southwest Missouri this morning. Air 42 F water 54 F Baller index -6.668. Wow cold water inhibits proper brain capacity...maybe that's what the baller index really measures.
  2. great question Rez...food for thought for another 15 offer. I think I have been over compensating with too much front foot pressure to break the rear foot pressure habit. So balanced with slight front foot pressure to initiate the turn. Then back to balanced. I'll give it a try.
  3. I have been participating in BOS biggest loser. Currently 6'5" 225# (and still losing) 49 year old. PB 15 off @ 29. My gates suck. Currently on a 2013 71" Triumph. Older weight I needed the 71". Now I can move to a 69". I don't have demos readily available. Should I go with a 69 TX the new Triumph or is a Senate or a Connelly V an option? Any other ideas on viable options? I can buy what ever ski I want. I am more interested in progression and not wasting time on a stick that I should not be on. (the whole under 30 on a 34 mph ski) Or should I stay on what I have until I get to 32? We currently ski on public lake with portable course about once a week. I get instruction once or twice a year. Free ski as well. Curious what people who know think. Most of you guys have forgot more about skiing than I know and I would appreciate your input.
  4. Always getting misc.marketing samples. Don't know the guy, but looks applicable. Makes custom chips. They looked unique enough I just kept the samples.
  5. Sad, but true. There are not enough hours in the day for working people to exercise off a poor diet
  6. Keep it up Brady I am 6'5" 49 and strarted the year at 247 down to 238 going sub 225. Going low carb and tracking on Weight Watcher. After the initial carb withdrawels low carbs work very well for me. Goal is mid March.
  7. HO said the T was the new Triumph. I too would like to try the Superlite version. They extended the weight range on the 69 from 225 to 250. That means somthing to me at 235. If anyone get on one please comment.
  8. I have been using double Vectors for three years. My PB is 15 off at 29 on a triumph. I am 49 years old learning the course. (no baller by any means) I have had many OTF's. I tighten my bottom laces tight and my top laces just snug and have always come out. Always followed the recomendations from the book. I think the lateral support comes from the bottom laces.
  9. Our shop has horizontal and vertical cnc's as well as turning centers. Can't do any 3d contouring. If you are interested send me a scanned print or drawing, I will see if it is somthing that might fit.
  10. Well I ski behind a 20 year old Nautique once a week on a public lake 3 mos out of the year with a portable course. Me and my ski buddy and our boys are learning the course on our second season. The most challenging sport I have ever attempted to learn ...and I always look forward to the next set. Even with the technology there is nothing easy about it... at least to me guess that's why I keep going back. I know it's a different level than how you guys live, but it's all relative.
  11. It's amazing how personally applicable some of these topics are. This is the story of my course life. You guys are great! Thanks for the good stuff.
  12. So my ski buddy and I have been learning the course this year on an ez-slalom on a public lake. Attempt to set the course once a week. We have been living at 15 off 28mph. We are running it 1/4 to 1/2 the time. Should we be running it consistently before we move up in speed.
  13. Will be in Jacksonville end of October anything close?
