  1. If you are teaching a lot of kids how to ski a boom (made by barefoot international) is a VERY helpful and useful piece of equipment. It really is a lot easier to get the kids up for the first time and you can work on form a bunch on the boom and short rope before you send them behind the boat. I teach many people to ski at my home every summer and my ski club runs a learn to ski clinic every year. If you really want to make huge progress, buy a boom.
  2. I am currently looking for a new ski. I still ski at 30-32 mph at 15 off but I am planning on going to a ski school and getting a lot better for next summer. Hopefully I will be skiing at 34 or 36 pretty soon and advancing from there. I am coming off my dad's system 8. I am looking for a forgiving ski that will take me far without having to switch skis. I am not really worried about that with the x7 seeing what nate can do with it but would the x7 be considered a forgiving ski? I know some places where I can get one for pretty cheap so would the x7 be a ski to consider? Would I be better off on a ski like the senate or senate c? Also I weigh 185 so would a 68 be a good size?

    Thanks

  3. @xrxhurricane I never really had any trouble with jumping the wake with my triumph. I have skied with this ski from 28 to 34 mph both in and out of a course and I think is a great ski for free skiing because its not too tiring to ski on and deep water starts are easy is you are going to teach anyone. That being said, it can still put down in the course if you want. This was one of my favorite skis I have been on. very fun
  4. @eleeski what do you like in the monza that you didnt see in the system 8? I am actually looking to maby purchase a new ski because the system 8 is actually my dads. I am in high school and still live at home so that isnt a big deal and I am in no rush to get a new ski, but it would be nice to have my own ski. How much would a monza cost me? Would it be worth buying one or could i get a more modern ski for a similar price? I am still skiing at -15 but am hoping to considerably improve these coming summers so would the monza be "too much ski" for me?

    thanks,

    Frank
