  1. Very interesting topic. I have zero knowledge about this but It is very cool. I'm wondering if you "stir" it or how does the process take place? Thanks
  2. *UPDATE* Yesterday, I finally started the project. I took an algae remover to it and that got all of the the green off of the sides. Looks a lot better. Then I used the StarBrite teak cleaner. Still, looking even better, so great progress so far. I think I might've ran into a problem and I'm looking for some help. In the pictures below, you will see a bit of splitting between the two sections. I'm wondering if I should fill it with some sort of putty? Also the next step is to sand. Already fairly smooth so would you say 110 or 220 grit? Then it's time to oil her up baby!
  3. WIERD!!! I have the exact same problem with my 196!
  4. I too have been pondering this idea for a while. The best idea I came up with is to attach the seat post mount on the rope/handle. Might not be very solid tho
  5. @scotchipman this is the creatine I use! http://m.gnc.com/aHR0cDovL3d3dy5nbmMuY29tL3Byb2R1Y3QvaW5kZXguanNwP3Byb2R1Y3RJZD00MDE0OTI1JkNBV0VMQUlEPTc0OTgwNTg3NA%3D%3D @waternut I wish I could say I spend 100 a year when I spend a little less than that in a month. Along with the creatine above, this is what I am all taking. Your welcome to "whey" in on what you think. Unfortunately this stuff is really emptying out my wallet but it works very good. I am 16, 6'1 155 and increasing the weight everyday. http://m.gnc.com/aHR0cDovL3d3dy5nbmMuY29tL3Byb2R1Y3QvaW5kZXguanNwP3Byb2R1Y3RJZD0zNTA5OTU0JkNBV0VMQUlEPTMyNzgzNDQyNg%3D%3D http://m.gnc.com/aHR0cDovL3d3dy5nbmMuY29tL3Byb2R1Y3QvaW5kZXguanNwP3Byb2R1Y3RJZD0xMjk4MjExMSZDQVdFTEFJRD0xMzUyMDQwMTc2 http://m.gnc.com/aHR0cDovL3d3dy5nbmMuY29tL3Byb2R1Y3QvaW5kZXguanNwP3Byb2R1Y3RJZD00MDMzNDM1JkNBV0VMQUlEPTU0NDc0Mjg4MA%3D%3D
  6. @franks SUPPLEMENTS! How else are you going to get the key amino acids that you need in order to promote muscle development? Creatine is awesome and shows really great results. IMO the best bang for you buck. Also a multivitamin is essential. Feeling a lack of energy during your workouts? Pre-workout drinks really help me maintain a focused and positive workout. In order to see results, I recommend working out atleast 5 times a week.
  7. Everyone go check out what the Burton EST channel system is! This just came to my mind and I'm wondering if this could be applied to a slalom and/or trick ski! Just an idea but I'm thinking that it might work somehow?
  8. Sounds like a great method @brady suggestions on specific products?
  9. Hello all. I have a newly purchased '05 196 and the teak platform needs a refinish job. Not sure if I should have this done professionally or not but I know that it can easily be done on your own. Never redone one but I'm wondering if someone could walk me through what to do on this as I have about 0 knowledge on this. Not sure if there is another thread on this or not. Also, there is a bit of a light green on the underside of the platform so not sure if this plays a role in it. Thanks much. Tfriess
  10. @horton thank you. @mattp 16. Just a suggestion, never said I would drink it.
  11. Every boat that comes out of the factory should be stocked with Kilo Kai
  12. Got one that I use for skiing. Love it. Recommend it. I have used customer service a few times now and they have been very good to me.
  13. @mikey I feel your pain. We had a Cobalt 220 up until fall and got a 196! I just had to beg my parents for about 3 years until they could not take it anymore and finally gave in. It was a great boat tho, just had to ski at about 25% because of the monster wakes.
  14. @Dave_n I noticed from your picture of your 200 that there is an aftermarket tower on there. Any reasoning behind this? Just curious
  15. Love what @ms said. I love my 196 but the thing that it is lacking is storage. IMO the 200 has A lot of storage space. That's what I would like to see because we bring a lot of gear and a lot of people when we go out and it becomes very cramped
